Rachel Potter is an old friend of some of the members of Voice Play since high school and worked for Disney while attending college performing as Ariel in the little mermaid show at Magic Kingdom. Rachael was actually a planned member for Voice Play for the "Sing Off" but ended up as a finalist on "X-Factor" and the schedule conflicted so Voice Play had to pick up a last minute, temporary replacement for the show. There are 11 covers with Rachel as their featured guest that are all great. You would love Rachel in "Phantom Of The Opera" and "I Knew You Were Trouble/As Long As You Love Me".
Geoff as Ursula was genius! More genius displayed in his arrangement of their Wicked Medley... it took several years for him to be satisfied, and it's amazing!
Great reaction! The humor in this one makes me giggle every tme I watch it, and that is dozens of times so far, maybe more! I don't know how much musical theater you like, but they did a Wicked Medley that is outstanding. I've never seen Wicked, but the medley is truly wonderful!

One of my all time favorites! It is almost like watching the movie. Poor Eli, having to be Scuttle the seagull😅. Rachel was Ariel at the Walt Disney parks and she said that she sang Part of Your World seven times a day for five years. So she has that character down pat! I want to add my vote for you checking out PattyCake Productions recent release: The Evolution of Ariel. They covered everything from the cartoon to the first live action to the Broadway to the newest movie. It features an original song that really fits with all the current hullabaloo over whether or not a mermaid can be something other than the redhead.

Another medley that Voice Play has done with Rachel Potter is the Greatest Showman Medley as well which is also spectacular. I see that other commenters have recommended the Wicked Medley as well which is also awesome.
Loved your reaction. Rachel has done a lot of performances with them... dating way back, at least to 2013 and "I Knew You Were Trouble;" Chandelier in 201; Phantom of the Opera in 2015. Attention (2017) is one of my favorites. So, while these are mostly not Disney, they're a great way to explore some excellent back-catalogue performances.
You’ve reacted to VoicePlay with Rachel before. However she looked quite different without the red wig as Moana. She blends in with them so well. And she is one of their early featured guests. Spectacular in “Phantom of the Opera”! Also really great in their “Wicked” medley and “Kidnap the Sandy Claws” but she has done quite a few others as well.
Think this was the one that made me fall in love with eli. Dont get me wrong i love rock god eli in their current songs but something about the way he sings kiss the girl just caught my attention i love it ❤❤ xx

Great reaction. Rachel Potter was Ariel at Disney World many years ago. That's how the guys and Rachel met. Pattycake Productions released their original video a couple weeks ago.... Evolution of Ariel/Fish Out of Water. Features the different Ariels throughout the years. Sung in the Disney Store. It is awesome. Pattycake is owned and run by Layne, Voiceplay beatboxer and former member Tony Wakim. All of the songs are original and based on Human Disney characters. All are amazing. My favorites and most popular are... The Villains Haunted Mansion. The Villains Lair series. Bump In The Night (Thriller parody) Will of Oz (mix of Will I Am and Wizard of Oz).
That one's not actually a medley, but it is an incredible performance! Disney was so impressed by it that they hired VoicePlay to come perform for them at an event.
This one is very well done and definitely has its moments, but it's never grabbed me the same way their Moana medley does. It's just too far over the top. (That said, I do adore Layne as Louis the French chef.)
