The voices of veterans come alive as former military men and women share their very personal and poignant stories of service. VOICES: Veterans Storytelling Project is the culmination of storytelling workshops by Orange County theatre artist Dave Barton.
A Petty Officer 1st Class in the U.S. Navy, Andrew works as an Aviation Machinist's Mate, and describes the distinction of being a "Sailor who has never sailed," fulfilling his service duties while landbound. Last year saw his first overseas deployment, where this Orange County native experienced cultural differences both large and small while stationed in Japan.
VOICES: Veterans Storytelling Project is presented by Arts Orange County, Heroes Hall at the OC Fair & Event Center, and the Tierney Center for Veterans Services.
