A bit of Tesseract for the emotion, Caligula's Horse for the groove and Dark Tranquility for the darkness. Not a bad mix I'd say.

I'm not a drummer, and so I don't just listen out for drumming in songs, but there's just no avoiding how good and varied the drumming is on this song.

I can’t decide which song is my favorite but this one is definitely tied with my top!!!! Not just from this album but all VOLAs albums!! I love you guys so much!! I’m never changing, you’ve accomplished what you set out to do in me!! My brother passed away last month and turns out he was murdered by addicts and the song black claws is really helping me cope in a strange way! You guys are the best!! So much love!!! 💙

First let's define 'Napalm' which is a chemical compound - an incendiary mixture of a gelling agent plus a volatile petrochemical - & its use in warfare has a long history. The effect was not always purely physical as napalm had psychological effects on the enemy as well. I think this song thematically describes failed relationships, on a societal scale - the friction between leaders and followers, which is caused by the misuse of power. (this last part is how VOLA themselves describes the album)

Someone mentioned VOLA and Spiritbox in comments on a Sleep Token video. Very glad I found this band. Loving it 👍

Still getting to know the band Vola and it is absolutely amazing. Together with leprous and pain of salvation in my top 3 of favo prog bands.

When I was first listening to the album and this song started I was like: "Huh, two chill songs in a row? Interesting choice..." Oh boy was I wrong! Amazing work as always!
