Thats because lars is on the drums. Believe it or not but Lars drumming makes AT LEAST 50% of making it sound like Metallica. Listen to Metallica play with other drummers at Download festival... it sounds terrible.
since Volbeat is a Danish metal band and Lars Ulrich is Danish also, and both Volbeat and Metallica are 2 fantastic bands, it couldn't be otherwise, of course Lars Ulrich had to play with Volbeat 🤘
+Frosty videos , Funny you should say that, as they used to do gigs back in the day (before they were famous) where they would have entire gigs with nothing but Metallica covers.
Octavio Taleno - I wish I was Lars. Then I would be so out of touch and egotistical that I wouldn’t know how much of a douche I was. It just wouldn’t matter.
Octavio Taleno - I agree. In spite of my wide variety of musical tastes it was Metallica who made me fall head over heals in love with music as a child between Justice and the black album. They have worked very hard, overcome much, and deserve their accolades. Also, Lars is out of touch, egotistical, and a douche.
I’m a Lars fan! He is humble, funny and awesome manners! Saw Metallica 2017 at Comerica Park! Actually got a meet and greet surprisingly! Kirt doesn’t say much! Rob Trujillo will yack your ear off like Lars. James is always busy, busy! Totally worth it! 🇺🇸America
I wasnt sure how I felt about volbeat when i first heard them, but the more I listen, the more I really enjoy them. Theyre a really good band with a lot of good musicians.
@@Fister_of_Muppets Right?! Glad someone else noticed. Right off the bat I was like "DAYUM! That tone is great!" They nailed it! Have they converted to Axe-FX like a ton of others?
@@SrDeMaFp I'm guessing that's exactly what they are doing. It makes a lot more sense to do that and use fractals instead of having 4 different Mesa Boogie Mk IV amps and a bunch of EQ's laying around with a ton of different adjustments between songs. Lars probably had Big Mick give Volbeat a phone call to tell them how to tune their AxeFx and EQ it and boom done.
because the superbowl mainly has black players they only want to hear rap and shit hope or poop music if you wish for them to have rock and roll then there needs to be white players otherwise its always going to be biased as it is now
Met Lars long time ago...in fact it was the day they finished The St Anger video. I was amazed how someone so small could WAIL on a set of drums. Very nice person though.
poulsen is definitely the local dave grohl of scandinavian region. so positive. I doubt that somebody would speak negative about him, or volbeat... leaving long lasting, good memories. long live guys! do not stop singing before rob halford stops!
I always love when Lars gets loved and appreciated this way. And it's well deserved! Dude's been working his ass of since he was 19 years old for his ''little'' project called Metallica.
@@-modern.love.story- Put a link up for us to check your skills out. I would like to see how a REAL drummer plays. Maybe even Lars could learn something from you. Hell, he was only the drummer of one of the greatest bands that ever took the stage in the world.. I'm sure everyone would love to see one of your shows..
I am the biggest Metallica fan James hetfield fan I can guarantee ever and I have seen them four times once with Volbeat at the death magnetic tour in Boston Mass and I can tell you the front man Volbeat I think has James beat in vocals love this video.
I’m pretty sure Lars may be the second richest drummer in the world next to Ringo Starr so I’m pretty sure he could care less about what anybody says and Lars will always be a drum god 🤙🏻
If any drummer can be as unique as Ringo, with a recognisable groove, it's Phil Collins. Lars was a good drummer, before the stopped practising, now he is ok and he does the job.
