@@alfhradi2417 it was a hydraulic pressure based project. A miniature JCB machine the worked fr! The seniors made it, they used various syringes as gears....it was soo cool!
I actually know a good recipe for this that is based on wax. Its creates little explosive like the real thing and the cool thing is that the wax hardens very soon after eruption creating rock like structures exactly like lava cools down to create rocks. Its a bit complicated to make and needs some extra stuff but nothing difficult to do.

Just buy some, it would have much bigger reaction than vinegar and baking soda And if you use cola then it's going to be reddish foam and you can probably get mentos from any convenient store, since it's like a pill so you won't even make a mess before presentation😅

Vinegar reacted with sodium bicarbonate to form carbon dioxide bubbles and caused the solution to move up with carbon dioxide. It was a neutralization reaction.
When I was in 7th I built a volcano, and I watched how to make it from RU-vid. When the judge asked me to show the eruption, my Murphy's law hit me and the volcano blew up like a bomb. I was disqualified and also I found that I had used too much concentrated chemicals so the reaction was too strong for volcano 😀😅😂

Our school students once made this experiment. They made volcano with maida and after some time it just became slimy and flat. We laughed like hell that day. Lots of memories 😌😌😌
