Einfach wunderbar!
Strange but, for such an important musician, he's totally unknown to me after nearly 60 years of listening to classical radio broadcasts and other sources. His music is a great discovery, thank you!
A haunting masterwork of great depth and sophistication. One can hear influences as diverse as Schubert, Fauré, and Bruckner (!), but Andreae is always his own man. This work deserves to be so much better-known!
