This is a great looking car. Definitely on my shortlist. 3 years ago i changed my CLS 350 Shooting brake for a Passat GTE estate for company car tax reasons. Saved over £4K a year on tax (not to be sniffed at!). I do still remember however the low feeling driving away in the bland looking Passat. However It is such a brilliant all round car to drive & live with. ( Although i admit dull to look at). Build quality is up their with Mercedes & standard kit wise it beats them hands down. It shoots of the line in E mode & GTE mode & is whisper quiet on the motorway plus I only fill it up every 8-9 weeks. Now that VW have created this Arteon Shooting Brake as a PHEV cant wait to test drive one.
