There are magnetic blinds for the side windows. They are stored in the under seat drawer. Also, best to wind the back of the seat forward when turning it around, makes it easier. You can get a Thetford Porta Potty toilet, that fits under the shelf in the back or under the sink. Also, take a bike for going to the shops to get milk! Folding bike fits under the shelf or get a bike rack that fits on the back door.

There is side window curtain in front, it's a sheet with magnets inside

Open the awning 1 mtre at a time, using the legs to support it as you go or you could damage the mechanism. Why didn't you fold out the matress?

Oh, it would be nice to have one of these. I had a Westfalia Joker back in the 1980s. By the way, upstairs, you usually put your feet at the low end, then it's not claustrophobic at all!

Nice review as always. What I don't understand is the fact that VW didn't use the longwheel base and install a toilet. Nice going camping offgrid but the misses wants a toilet. She doesn't pee in the bushes if you know what I mean....

I’ve spent 12 days living in mine in Scotland as well as other trips. If I was desperate I could defo live in mine for months. Planning to do a 3 year trip around the world in it so time will tell

@@NobbyOnCars Not experienced too many cold nights in it so far but it does have a diesel heater and I've used hotwatwr bottles to keep me warm

A simple question but I cannot find the answer: can you leave the bedding up there if you close the roof ? Leave your pillows, blankets or sleeping bags, ... ir do you have to take everything down ?

if you left them laid out you might get something thin enough to stay up there like sheets etc but anything bulky is going to damage the motor in the roof closure and it’s fairly compact as it is.

Nobby On Cars thanks for the reply. I appreciate that. The answer is a disappointment however. Especially if you like camping in the winter. There isn’t that much storage to begin with, if you have to stow away the bedding every night that seems like a huge hassle. I think I prefer a real camper van ...

There are plenty of nooks to be fair, a duvet or whatever shouldn't take up too much room but if you want heaps and heaps of space then this is more of a camper that you prep on the fly each night and get to travel around in more.

Got one. They are fantastic. Small enough for an everyday driver which is their best feature. Nice vid but got to tell you off. At 4.30 you have trapped the roof bellows. Did you have a window open to let the air out when you let the roof down ?
