I agree Peter most scan tools even the cheap ones so long as they have bi directional controls will operate things like windows and wipers etc to assist the mechanics and hobby mechanics with this type of problem
Battling the glare outside in the sun , i end up in the footwell sometimes lol , think snap on is the worst for it , thanks for showing us some bi direct diagnostics ,,
Around €2000 would buy a very good scan tool with Bi directional controls. ( eg. Launch, Topdon, Mahle or Autel ) Some really good equipment at those prices. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box though to find a hint or clue to what’s wrong 🤔🤔 Cheers Jem 👍
@@kennedysgarage3281 i keep thinking about buying rosstec software, only for my car. Only a diyer, but I'm put off with it all being laptop dependent. Id rather a stand alone dedicated unit. Tbh though i don't get much trouble from my car, only mechanical, which I'll buy the right tools for if don't already have them. I'm not doing too bad keeping it on the road and working well.i love the car tbf. It's never let me down, I'll just keep trying to keep on top of the jobs and seeing them well before they need doing then prepping for it.
