@@logan7561bro same here but just brush it off, no point in letting it get to your head. I found a group of boys who also liked volleyball and started to play with them. After a while people just stop talking to you about it
I think of it more as following through differently. For attacking to the left I finish on the left side of my body, attacking right my am finished at my right side and attacking up the guy my arm comes straight down
Does it really matter where your arm is after you've already hit the ball? I think the point where are you hit the ball and when it leaves point of contact is all the matters
@@nastk2717it does. If you swing diagonally (clubbing the ball) it may go in a completely opposite direction than you intended. Also when you’re peppering, you never want to club the ball, because it’s unpredictable and might not go where you want.
no it’s also hand placement because you have to hit as much as possible and your hand placement can redirect the ball if it is going to go out and you can’t move your body fast enough the guide it where you want it to go
I would like to play middle blocker but I don't understand if I'm inclined to do it, I'm 6 foot 2 and I'd appreciate if you had some advice on how to be more performing. Thank you
6 foot 2 should be more than fine, blocking in the middle might be a bit hard if the setter is hard to read but with enough speed and momentum you can close your block on the outside really high and well
Kinda shocks me how I got no teaching or anything yet I taught myself all of this and now I’m finding videos to improve and I find out I have all the motion and hand placements right
Is there a way you guys can give it tutorial on how to time it correctly because I start with two hands on the ball and throw it up and I have the power and I’m so good at it I just can’t time it
Have you tried to use your body? I think the rotation of the upper body with at least a half step while hitting the ball makes a huge difference. Nowadays I have to go as back as I can but I use a lot of my body. Take inspiration on professionals, you can do it. I'm a midget with a decent serve. 😅
