Feel sorry for Abzan, with no cards theme around it in the new set..... going to be the color set with the least cards around the theme. (Since Mardu got some new cards.)
The opener was fine, Kaotics should not have played that jank deck. He pretty much scooped as soon as the game started. Missing one player really skews the game.
Sword of Truth and Justice is flipping insane with Aurelia in a very double strike heavy deck. The other day I got a win out of nowhere thanks to solely Truth of Justice because it pumped Aurelia by a total of 6 before the last hit - with the extra hits and combat steps it adds up fast. Also Blue / White protection is crazy relevant since most flyers that can block are in those colors and it prevents a swords or path from ruining your day. Super happy with your evaluation of the swords. They seem pretty accurately rated to me. Sinew and Steel is mainly only used for artifacts, as planeswalkers aren't very common withe the dudes I play with - but there is always some artifact to blow up. Now they just need a sword that kills enchantments and we'll be set! Also, you should do another Aurelia vid - at least once every 1 to 2 weeks! That's why most of us came to the channel, to see Boros THRIVE. I just like seeing how you make gameplay choices with it
I haven't had much of a chance to live the aurelia double striking dream with truth and justice. Maybe soon. I think Im going to put weapons of war back together. Akiri and Bruse hasn't been performing in the meta the way that I need them to, so I think I'm going to switch to Gerrard for the high power combo stuff and back to Aurelia for more of the turn 7 kind of stuff.
I hope they have a five colour commander that gets some bonus for adventures. Perhaps "[name] the chronicler" with text like "each time a creature you control goes on an adventure, copy that ability and put a +1, +1 counter on [name]. Maybe busted, but sooo cool.
I didnt get why you were focusing the monowhite player with the volrath triggers. The blue opponent was clearly the number one threat. Nice match, but I believe you could have played it better
Well the one was protected, and with Naban, the +1/+1 counters were sort of hard for us to get through. Could have played better, but also just need more removal in the deck.
Yeah its fun, I need to add a ton of removal though. Thought I could play some chill games and just mash some creatures together but my Patreons had other ideas. We'll see my vengeance in todays videos though.
You know you can make a bunch of non legendary Volraths by copying a nonlegendary creature, Volrath with become that creature but retain his ability. Then using a clone to copy the non legendary volrath, you can create a bunch of creatures with Volraths ability

I played a ton of 1v1 before I started the channel and it got really stale to me. At that point in time it was just UBx combo decks. While I'm confident that I could compete really well in that space now, I was just enjoying 4 player much more when I started the channel. I like being able to play 6 and 7 drops that you wouldn't normally be able to use other in formats. 1v1 tends to lean in that direction of just trying to be faster and more efficient.
