My first Barn Find! Volvo P1800 found rotting away in a 90,000 sqft warehouse in Houston, Tx.
*Correction* it’s a 1963 1800S
Chassis 7656
I visited this warehouse to look for VW parts and fell in love with this Swedish beauty. I can't say that I had ever seen one before but my first thought,when I saw this car, was that it had to be something special. I did my research and I was right!
Follow along as I dive into what will eventually be a complete restoration. First goal is to get it back on the road and then I will be working on paint and body at a later date.

They made tens if not hundreds of thousands of the 1800 basically unchanged for over 10 years, so finding one is no challenge. Beautiful timeless cars. I personally have the 1800ES, the shooting brake only made two years in low numbers, the last of the great 1800 volvo

I found my 1800e about 7 years ago and this brought back a lot of memories. Get her back on the road where she belongs! Great VID!

Friend of mine found his1800 after 34 years. His father gave it tohim when hen he turned 18. Now it is renovated in mint codition. Quite rare one of total 15 black P1800

Lots of interesting stuff in there including some kharman ghias, I wonder who left all those cars there in the first place?

KΛM oh ya he had a crazy amount of VW stuff. That was his primary interest with a few random makes sprinkled throughout

I ran across your you tube channel and recognized the 1963 Volvo 1800S. I'm now a subscriber. The car resides with me on the other side of the Country. I'm planning to completely restore the interior with materials from VP Auto Parts Sweden. They have a large showroom and warehouse in Charleston, South Carolina, which is close to me. It would be great speak with you sometime. Also, I would really like to put together whatever provenance I can for the car...history, receipts for work done, information on what work you performed on the car, etc. I was provided very little information with the car. Do you have anything that you could provide for my growing folder on the car? Thanks in advance for your consideration.
