On my project Volvo 480 I have finally got the indicators back working, it turns out the CEM was faulty and had blown somehow in my previous testing. I suspect this was to do with the window or sunroof motors and caused it to fail. I replaced the CEM and various other dash lights are now working also (Seatbelt warning, door open) so these are all CEM related indications on the dashboard.
In this video I replace the CEM, test the indicators, I also test for leaks in my repaired fuel filter pipe and assembly (It's not totally solved though). I then test by starting the car up and make sure it still runs. There is also a brief look at the front DRL and indicator lights.
I also take a brief look into the infocentre which was the on-board computer (Yes from a 1994 car!) that had a digital display (LCD) to display temperature, fuel level, engine oil and various other bits of information.
Also finding yet another exhaust problem!
