My 1969 volvo amazon had a bad head. While that is at the shop we are going to weld and paint the complete car!
This car has been bought by me on the 20th of april 2022 and has been driven half a year as a daily. That was around 13.000 kilometers.
The engine will be back soon so we need to start fixing the rust problems on the car!

Greetings from the USA My Volvo 242 has pop out rear windows just like your Amazon. I was wondering hw to remove them for painting - thanks for the detail on this matter. I am enjoying your channel and the Volvo content. please keep the episodes coming.

Thank you sir! There are Most likely two screws behind the seatbelt cover on the b pilar wich screw the hinges down. The clamp wich folds the window open is the other part that connects it to the car. This is how my amazon window was attached to the car.

I am really impressed by your welding :D I need to do comparable window repairs on my Borgward sometime this year, just acquired a welder and have never done that before - only mechanical work as of now on my cars. What could possibly go wrong there :P By the way thanks for the video on the B23A wiring harness. I rebuilt mine some months ago for my 244 just like you :)
