Love the interior in this car!

You can change the remaining range to dynamic, so it adapts to your driving. Go to car>settings>system>units>dynamic. Default is based on WLTP.

Love your channel man, I never miss a review because they're truly interesting. It would be nice if possible and/or if you can of course, to test older EV's with thousands of KMs, many people can't afford new EV's and there's not much information about the status of an old EV battery out there, or how is the car after 3-5 years of use.

285 km?
@sebbbi2
@sebbbi2 13 дней назад
279 kilometers is not great highway range for 460km WLTP car. How long range did your ID.3 medium battery (420 km WLTP) achieve in the same test? Can’t wait for you to test the new 600km WLTP ID.3 GTX too. That would be the perfect car for us, but it doesn’t have 4WD. ID3.X prototype was such a nice teaser…

But he driving well over 70mph. Which is the speed most people would drive the car . Most efficient speed is 65-70mph. I don’t think this is far test
@sebbbi2
@sebbbi2 11 дней назад
In Finland the highways speed limit is 120km/h and most people drive 125km/h. In Germany people drive even faster in autobahn. 70mph is 113km/h which is of course a bit more efficient. 75mph would be 121km/h.
@sebbbi2
@sebbbi2 11 дней назад
At 110km/h it is indeed much more efficient. Achieves 360km range. That’s much more reasonable. EX30 has quite poor 0.28 drag coefficient, so it definitely helps to drive slower. ID.3 facelift is 0.263 which is 6% better. And it seems that VWs new engine is a big help too for the GTX. Facelift + new engine got around 50km more range. But I have time to wait for EX30 facelift. They have a lot of software issues too. Just like ID.3 had initially. Nowadays it seems best to wait for the first facelift. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Emt9inCqNB8.htmlsi=co6GYfIV1Ico22iO

It is regrettable that range tests are still being done at 130 km/h, as the max. speed limit worldwide is predominantly 120 km/h or less. The results of this test are therefore irrelevant for most countries. For the same reason, it would not be economically justifiable to install an assistance system designed for speeds in excess of 120 km/h. Should something that is worldwide irrelevant be installed only for Germany or a handful of other countries? It is unfortunate that German RU-vidrs and car testers so often fail to look beyond their borders. Other renowned channels have therefore been using 120 km/h as a benchmark for some time now. So if you have something relevant to report and you present it even in English to reach a wordwide audience, it should be adapted to the reality of the audience that is targeted.

Hello BL matey. This car needs a head up display, I can't drive cars with the speed only on the centre console.

I was so excited for this when announced. A year later and it's been officially delayed for US launch and I am not sad one bit. The lack of efficiency, how the AWD works, the buggy software with poor UX - all that with an obviously budget interior - it just doesn't make sense as a Volvo. Get a used XC40, C40, or Polestar 2 instead.

Driving at 82mph just isn’t normal for most. Any EV would be going through its battery at this speed . 70mph would more represent most people

I have its sister car the Smart #1 Brabus. I also have 19” wheels, slightly smaller 66/62 kW battery. My consumption over 9,334 km is 323 km range. I only drive in the most powerful Brabus mode. The Smart is in a different league in every way, the software is excellent. It has a heads-up display and a dedicated drivers display. Plus many pages of tech and features that the EX30 doesn’t have. If you get the chance to drive any Smart #1 #3 except the base model then you will agree with me. ❤

That's not consumption,consumption is how many kwh per 100 km driving 130 (GPS) km/h. You might be driving in the city where consumption is the lowest.
@garrycroft4215
@garrycroft4215 13 дней назад
@@ms-jl6dl 3 miles kWh 200 miles real world range in Brabus mode over a 5,800 miles period. This must be far more accurate than one charge at one temperature on one trip. This is the real world range.
@MattyThomas86
@MattyThomas86 12 дней назад
But are you driving about 133kph or 82mph, which is well over what most would do. Any EV would go through it’s battery quicker at this speed
@garrycroft4215
@garrycroft4215 12 дней назад
@@MattyThomas86 no I fully understand that and that’s why I have posted what you are more likely to get over time. City, county, highway, temperatures from -5 to 25 then you can judge whether 200 miles (322 km) actual range is good enough for your use.
@MattyThomas86
@MattyThomas86 12 дней назад
You’re driving at the most inefficient speed . Your driving at 82mph , you need to be sticking at 70mph or 112kph for a normal real world range . 82 is considered fast in most countries and would expect any EV to perform badly
