Can you do me a favor and show me where on the TAMD41 is the temp sensor? My gages stopped showing engine temp and I need to check that sensor. I cannot find others talking about it.
@@bobp.6337 the temp sensor is on the right hand side of the thermostat hosing . The big water pipe that sits on the top of the engine that leads to the heat exchanger and also the thermostat housing . I hope I have described it enough so you can locate it.
@@shakyangler the only problem on my boat was a little bit of osmosis blisters, but luckily not involving the fiberglass but only the filler that they putted on some points between the gelcoat and the fiberglass.
I have finally bought a vacuum tank like yours. Very useful also on my other vehicles. I'm a little disappointed because every time I extract far less oil than I read on the user manual, also inserting the thin pipe in the dipstick tube... About 9 liter out and 9.5 liter in. The manual says 11, 5 Lt.
Hi like your videos very well explained I've just bought an 805 how do you change the header tank coolant and how is this keep the engine cool and wich antifreeze should be used
There is a drain cock on the block that located underneath the rubber pipes that go from the heat exchanger and the exhaust elbow. Undo the cock and the coolant water will drain out. Then I back flush with a hose pipe on the same cock that you drained the coolant water out until the water flushed clear . Then I top up with antifreeze which I get from Euro car parts and it’s pink can’t remember the name of it
Nice vid. I didn’t know you could take the oil from the engine via the dipstick. Is that the only way you can change the oil without removing the engine?
your video's are great I have a AD41P-A very much alike , i found your oil pump on amazon , i can't find your oil retractor . on part 4 u used a spreader to put tension on the belts where did purchase that tool . love to her from u. Great job
The belt tensioner is a turn buckle that can be found at Tool station or B&Q . when you say you cant find my oil retractor due you mean the one for my gear box or the engine.
@@shakyangler I found the turnbuckle, I’m looking for your oil filter remover, I never seen one that looks like that one u have, I have filter remover’s that take off filters on my GMC truck those filters are not that big , like to find the one u have. Thanks for your help & no how. 👍
John I have the Volvo lip seal shaft seal . I will be changing it next year when I change my cutless bearing . If you have the same Volvo seal then just grease in between the seals with the Volvo lip seal grease.👍
If you Google Volvo seal it will show you a picture . I used to have the nanni 4.90TDI in another boat . I know a fair amount about those engines. If you go on YBW motor boat forum I have put a fair amount about them on there . Jamielangston is my name on there.
@@yorumxyorum I use a standard inverter and not a full sinn but that said when I use my computer it can make it a bit jumpy but i mainly use it for my TV and electric blankets for winter boating.
