Thanks so much for making this video!!! My car is Volvo S80 2004. The trick worked. I tried to remove the headrest for a while to put new cover seat and couldn't figure out. Such a relief that it worked!!! Thank youuuu!!!

The headrest rods that go inside the seat have a very sharp end: this is what they are very hard to dislodge from their lock. Try to push on the pin with a wood stick (like a piece of broom handle - this makes sure the lock is completely depressed) Note: In the making of this video, I look not to damage junkyard parts that are popular or in good condition. There were a dozen of S60/V70 that day and these tan leather seats rarely get pulled (most of the time people look for the black leather seats).
