Joel is a great guy! When we met, he had taught me a lot about fuel economy. Very humble and down to earth guy. Great to see him in this featured video. Volvo's dealer network is horrible for a small fleet to deal with and the dealers don't represent Volvo in a good light, that's why I'm running new Freightliners and Western Stars however Joel does point out how great of a truck Volvo is, it's just unfortunate that their dealer network consist of extremely greedy dealers that don't respect smaller fleets. Maybe that'll change someday and I could order a couple of Volvo's.

This has been my experience as well, Volvo Corporate and the Dealers, have to be some of the worst in the world, for disrespecting customers/fleets. Its really to bad, I love my Volvo trucks as a truck, but it stresses me out, dealing with warranty/parts/insane costs of anything "Volvo". When these trucks are milled out, I will be buying KW's through Inland.

Truth! Also good to see someone who is in and completely understands the industry explaining things and representing. Joel is an extremely good and down to earth guy and knows his stuff! Some of these other corporate people who have never been behind a wheel, maybe not so much! But Volvo is a great truck and Joel has mastered them!

Titanium needs to be more cost effective if we were to be 200% stronger then steel but half the weight to achieve 100 miles per gallon

Wouldn't water injection or hydrodiesel help spool the turbo and exhaust recovery turbine

Volvo North American needs to Catch Up to Volvo Europe as far as Quality of Construction, Service and Sales Personell. Has Volvo NA thought about bringing the SPO2812 Duel Clutch I-Shift over from Europe? On the D13KTC Series in Europe 300Nm is Gained on most of the Different Horse Power Set Ups; why not in North American Units. Hint: the D13KTC500 is Rated at 2800Nm. The COE Units sold Overseas (especially the Globetrotter Model FH XXL Cabovers) would have a Large Following, especially the FH16 Line of Semi Trucks. Long Chassis Versions should be Offered as well.
