Absolutely love the disclaimer at the end. Looked like a naughty boy who had been caught doing something mischievous and now had to apologize at the behest of his mother
I'm 5 years late on this. But I like the disclaimer at the end. Ì was just showing you what was inside the dpf but then I thought i'd weld it back up and talk about remap 😂 I think you should buy a new dpf and only put it on the car when your taking it for an M.O.T 😂😂👍🏿 oh my disclaimer is I'm joking.😂😂
Surely if you just wanted to smash out the innards, you could have hammered a steel rod in from one end and worked out all the ceramic stuff. Did you need to cut the end off? and if you had just cut off the other end with the soot on it, you could have removed the soot and put the dpf back, saving you failing MOTs and buying another DPF.
Have you ever heard of safety gear? Take it from someone who said 'I don't need safety things' yes, you bloody well do! Hospitalised with serious damage to both hands and left leg. Wear it!!! UK Pete.
😂😂😂😂. Its not fun living in South Africa, but things like this we just do not give a shit about. When the car is out of warranty, then bye bye emissions BS. We do not have yearly MOT’s. Non existent here.....
Gracie
@@sicknote1971 yes they do, Fuel is being added in the dpf when it's hot so it will combust and thus regenerates. But at a certain point its won't work anymore.
Now that’s all done I just need to get it remapped .... Disclaimer: that’s not actually going back the the car it was just a demonstration.... yea alright boss cause it’s not
I'm sure its worth nothing removed if a scrap merchant has to sell cats in tact to a licensed recycle specialist wouldn't it be same for a dpf ? but the value is crap now anyway I "USE" 😥 to work in high grade stainless steel recycling for nickel
