Polestar upgrade for the D4 brings it inline with the D5, bar the lack of the 2nd turbo. My D4 AWD XC60 is up at 215bhp now, from 162bhp stock. I'm sure you can get the Polestar upgrade for the D5 as well.

Me too, but have you noticed that she is heavy handed. Always crashing, bashing and throwing things around. Never far from an old Banana too. Lovely girl.

I doubt you'd go offroading with your audi q5 or porsche suv lol, if you're serious about offroading you'd most probably always go for land rover, this volvo is for families who want a good combination of everything in the form of an suv.

drownthedays actually not exactly that... I'm a fen or the off-roading idea but it hurts me watching how people destroy their vehicles in some mud hole or rocks. I do not like extreme off-road, but 2WD SUV would struggle even on a wet grass :) you can't drive on sand with such SUV can't climb steep slope although its clearence in snow it loose traction very soon so it is quite pointless. And waferpie123 - I will get my Q5 off-road just not too extreme otherwise I will get A4 avant which where I live is about 10 000 euro less and it is faster and better for more engaging drive and on top of that in my eyes better looking too :)

i do get the idea, these things are pretty useless, meant for housewives wanting to drive a large vehicle and not caring what driving figures or fuel costs look like

To each his own I guess :) but ye when spending that kind of money id prefer to go for a much better looking saloon, but this "suv" fest seems to be the current trend.

Elijah van der Laan I think the UK hasn't figured out yet whether they prefer the metric or the imperial units, so they use both sometimes. Plus the left lane traffic... they really like being an oddball ;)

MPG is Miles Per Gallon - fuel use. MPH is miles per hour - speed two different things.

You need 4x4 to go to tesco mate ? In these times more peopel like the cross over /suv's just because it is a big car and driver better then an MPV -having 4x4 option just to say it is there .....

That comment was 8 years ago mate :) I've changed my mind since then. In fact I've placed an order for an SUV with front wheel drive. I do like the tall driving position and the space you get from an SUV. So forget what I said about 4x4 mandatory for SUVs
