Nicely done. I wish I had a better experience with this mount. Recently had to ship one back for warranty because the aluminum was too soft and the screws were pushing right through. I never torque more that 18 inch lbs. Atibal has a mount identical to this one and I think it's better accept for the screws. I much prefer the torques over a hex.
It better be fine. If you have to pay for this it’s 120 bucks. I didn’t get mine in a bundle, but I did buy it on sale for 80 bucks, but even on Amazon they’re 120 bucks. So for that price it better be great considering it’s just a mount that holds your scope lol.
This mount is currently bundled with a Sig Buckmaster 3-12x44 for $119.99 from palmetto state armory. Not sure what that says about the scope if this mount is normally $100 on its own but nonetheless it seems like an attractive deal for anyone looking to buy this mount.
I have had the American Defense scope mount, they are a little bit better. I did the return to zero session with both, but American Defense was a little bit better for a return to zero.
Got one of these with my vortex diamondback tactical ffp. The scop was 399, or bundled with this for 429. Seems to be holding up fine on my ar10 in 308.
I got one of these with a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24. I ended up trying this mount with my Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50 on a 6.5 Creedmoor AR-10. At 18 in/lbs the scope creeped pretty badly. After 50-75 shots, the scope had moved so far that the erector body was against the ring. I swapped it for an ADM Recon and it has stayed put since. Ended up selling the Strike Eagle with the mount. Good riddance to both.
