Voted The Best Pub In The Country 

Im very skeptical of places which say they are "voted best". Thats usually just a sales gimmick for tourists.

It’s lovely that little pub , my eldest son was one of the top barmen in the country , always winning awards , and winning awards for the puds he worked in , won holidays to tequila in Mexico , a few times , he worked at the Blind Pig in london and won them best international bar , he had to go to New Orleans to get the award for them , he’s now emigrated to Canada with hes mrs where he runs a lovely bar over there , but he was head hunted by the Savoy Hotel in london and was given there bar to run , but he in hes late 30s and can’t go any higher than that in hes career , so emigrates to hes mrs country , and does well there , so I know what it takes to be the best pub in the country , hard work , dedication and good staff . And a bloody good pint , so no the wonder you were sizzled , if that was real ale lol

Try bacon, cherry tomatoes and mature chedder for a pannini.. cook the bacon 1st btw, and slice the cherry tomatoes, and dont skimp on the chedder either.
