Case Irvine is a one episode OVA from 2010, its great but i wish it was longer and I don't think many have watched it. This is a fight scene between Irvine and Paygun, if you want to know context i recommend watching it.
honestly I wish Irving was a mini series like Mellowlink. it would of given us so much more breath into the world of the Astragius galaxy. Commando Vorct OVA when, sunrise
Sunrise is sitting on a goldmine of anime adaptations they’ve refused to make. Eqaul Ganeshis, lightning slash, commander vorct, philosopher of the battlefield, and the damn Child of God arc the sequel to the phantom arc. They’ll probably never be made but the ideas are very cool and I’d love to read the novels all of em are. But can’t find em anywhere raw or not.
@@Gearsy Gods, and why they never did _BKB_ anime pre-1990 when _Votoms_ was still a hot franchise is beyond me. Probably some sort of 3-way rights f&^kup between the Story Author, the Magazine, and Sunrise.
Still don't get the hate, as much as some of these OVA have some Variety of weird Scope Dog it did not deserve all the hate (and to be honest thank's to the Hate the francise got put on Ice)
If it just this one but the other got the same hate, they say "The Votom is way to different" Well it just Japan community post but then again main target is Japan
@@sandhiwistara9128 don't get what they mean. There are a number of different Votoms and the scope dog has heavily customized variants cause it is one of the most commonly produced. It's the AK47 of the AT world.
Man I wish there was a place that contained all the lore and data of all weapons made for AT's. Also "Dog the Dark" has to be one of the sickest Custom Scopedog's next to the Burglary Dog
I wish this OVA has at least few more episode to expand the world building, while the fight is bit exaggerated compare to mainline Votoms, it is still a pretty entertaining OVA.
What they meant was how it went from expendable mass produced junk pieces to this over the top mech drama. And ironic since Lelouch voices the guy Irvine is fighting
Makes sense in the context of the universe. Like all life evolves to crab, all mechs in fictional media, no matter how rugged, tank-like and "mass-produced" they were in the beginning of the series/saga, they eventually evolve into NEXTs from Armored Core:4Answer
Okay, what the hell is this? Why is this Scopedog BLOCKY and looks like gunpla? What the hell is that overdesigned thing it fights? Did makers of this series only have a surface understanding of the franchise? I'll check the full thing obviously and I'm not hating on it just because it's different (for all i know it might be a masterpiece and probably has it own fans), but man going from old shows to this couldn't feel more drastic.
