Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure their lines are already recorded they're just mimicking themselves. Cus generally you'd record stuff like this in a booth and not as a group on a couch for every sound possible to picked up by the mic.

Same for me but with Liam. I can always reckognize his voice in a second, i have a bit more trouble with women's voices. But there's an episode of Star Wars: Rebels where Liam voices 2 different characters and there's a scene where they talk to each other... floored me

and you can feel how good animations, great voice actors and good pacing is really important for a show. shows got extremely episodic lately, so in interrupts the story flow. fewer animated series are actually drawn and not 3d models that look like drawings... and most important, actually hiring good voice actors and paying them well for an awesome performance.

But yes, Bailey has very wide vocal range, if you ever go through her extensive list of roles across the decades (since 1999). *;)*

They are actually being dubbed by the shows audio. Note the extra background voices, music, the voices clearly not being recorded in the exact same way, the throw up sound effects

You can feel how much Laura loves the idea and character of Vex'ahlia. The look in her eyes as she says her lines is her putting herself in the scene and acting exactly how Laura Bailey wishes the world was, it's probably the same with Jester but it's harder to see because instead of being a serious character it's ADHD/NSFW Laura being let off a leash🤣

It isn’t. This is a reread of the lines they did in the sound booth. This is why some of the lip syncing is a bit off at times. They’re just so good it sounds like the actual lines from the show

I’ve been watching the campaign(Trying to catch up on the adventures of Vox Machina and the mighty nein) and I just love how much fun everyone has while playing their characters. The campaign sets up their moments, but the show allows them to be as loud as the moment demands
