Damn! A band that actually sounds like the Journey we grew up with. The Journey band of today has strayed away too far from their original sound. Congratulations Hugo and Team! Amazing! You've extended Journey fans the ability to hear and see what Journey used to be.

Had the chance to meet the singer. He was in a band called Valentine in the 80s and 90s. In person he does look like Steve Perry and sounds just like him. I told him he did. He has been in the music industry a very long time. Glad he out doing this now.

I was lucky enough to see Journey with Steve Perry LIVE several times in the early 80s...and Hugo is the closest I have ever seen and heard to Steve!! Phenomenal! I hope to see them live when they come to my town in September!!

I have seen Journey many times. The first time was in 1978 on the infinity tour. This was the first album I believe Steve Perry appeared on and I guess you could say the rest is history. When I ran up on these guys I was floored. In many ways they sound better than Journey because they are paying tribute to them and the effort to reproduce the classic sound is top notch. Can`t get enough of Voyage! Simply put "AWESOME"!

After the Frontiers tour in '83, there was a lull in new Journey material for a while. Then, in 1995, this song came out on the VisionQuest soundtrack and played on the radio. I remember the debut of the song on radio and I almost cried. At Neil's solo, I said to myself, "They're back!" This cover band is so close to the original.

I stumbled upon Your RU-vid Channel a few days ago. As someone who is very critical when someone else tries to emulate Steve Perry, I kept my eyes closed listening for a wrong note. NOT one to be heard. Then I looked and thought "No, that IS Steve Perry, but it can't be." . Hugo, you are spitting image of Mr. Perry, your vocals are AMAZING. You also move like He did. GREAT Job. Hope to see you in Canada in the next Year or so. If you come this way. I know a lot of People would be interested to see you in concert.

This is the closest to the real thing for me. I don't cuss, but this makes me want to. Awesome job guys!! The reflections, pronunciations, and mannerisms are so similar to Steve's. I swore I would never go see Journey after Steve left, but I would love to see you guys. You all are not a simple cover band- your skills are equal to Journey itself.
