I’m 76 I have listened just to Vrillion and believe it to be true. I listenened to it when I was younger also. I now know this message really does refer to the times now. I’m older and wiser. I know we should take heed of his wise advice.

Yes, I recall this as a kid. I was in some kind of trance and it stuck to me to actually understand although there was a lot of static I could still understand. Learning to live in peace. What a concept and a challenge for humanity. Selfish greed and power are the enemy. If this _is_ aliens, the answer is rather obvious. To communicate across the vast reaches of space, and the ability to travel those distances, would imply an extremely advanced and evolved entity. Translation would not be an issue. I never saw or even heard about this broadcast. I would have been 11 years old at the time. One does wonder why, if this is sincere, it was never repeated. I complimented them on their singing, but they needed help understanding English. It is possible to mimic an accent, even whole conversations if you listen carefully enough. I have even had a Chinese student hold a simple conversation, but with a Texan accent, but she has never been to the US.

@@vincentzack At the time of writing that original post over 10 years ago, I was missing one page of information about the Ashtar events, which I thought I had. Over the years I have collected them and also shared information with someone who personally knows Meier. I have read them again and realized years ago, that this particular Ashtar person/group didn't originally have our best interest at heart and was actually in conflict with the Pleijaren group. Towards the end, the Ashtar group had a change of heart and decided to send a message of peace and love in 1977, which this video demonstrates. This is not some hippie with a cheap voice distorter. In fact, science still cannot offer an explanation as to how this was done. Must've been some extremely sophisticated and bored "pirates" with equipment able to override a genuine television station's signal. Listen to the message with an open mind. i saw a face on the tv screen it cut into my 12:00 lunch hour I swear D: white face wtih dark eye hole like eyes just so dark they looked like holes but no light at all in the sockets if they were sockets .. but a white face not grey. i was watching hte flintstones before that.. then this fine fuzz started to appear. and the face at the same time.. unmoving unexpressing just there but looked alive not dead. totally foreign and I had no clue about aliens at the time i was only 11 or 12.
It's sad that no one has a real version of the original incident, since the Southern TV folks weren't recording their broadcasts at the time. This is said to be a really close reproduction of the voice and message though, and it did happen.

I AM into telecommunications and I can safely tell you. Yes taking over whatever links a broadcast studio to the main transmiters will get you on all of the transmitters and antennas being utulized by that studio. That's exactly how it works yes. Look up the max headroom pirating incident, that's how he did it. It's like if you where talking into a mic going to an amp and speakers in a conference room. If i unplug your mic and plug in my own to the amp, I take over.
