Great work fella, that rear end has come up mickey mouse. Wish I had've done the tubs on my ute while it was apart a couple years ago, but i'll revisit it later once the VH is sorted haha.
Awesome man I do wish the tubs were a little more wider to give u the option of notching the rail but it's all good I had no issues with the kit it's pretty good quality 👌
Hey mate, love the rear end, coming along nicely. I’m about to start doing the same setup on my VH (tubs, shortened borgy, coilover conversion etc) just wondering if you got a kit, and where you got it from? If not, what arms and brackets/mounts are you using?? Thanks heaps 🙏🏼
Hi mate, lower arms are from gazzard, coil over kit and lower diff brackets are from Mc Donald bros, wheel tubs were from showtime, panhard is custom chromoly tube with heim joints and upper arms are just off the shelf adjustable ones, I used these tubs cause it's built for burnouts so there 3mm thick if ur not building it for burnouts the 1.2mm is what u want, McDonald bros make a good kit and so does hatzi I've used both before and had no issues with there quality 👍 hope this helps
Was built as a burnout car mostly but I will put it down the strip end for some fun and to see how it goes and possibly even at rolls, im not to sure it will be fast at rolls but it will still be fun
Awesome man.!! Thanks for the reply that’s what I am going to do I bought the McDonald bros clip for my Vy skid Ute there 4link on but cost a bit getting it sent to NZ an took 8 months all up cheers! What fuel an ecu system you using cheers??
@@WildAnticsNZ yeah nice man that’s the go ditch the irs for sure, I watched a few of ur videos ur ute is badarse 💪 I’ve got a video on my fuel system but basic run down is a modified 80l cell with a raceworks 2.8 surge tank with two internal 460 walbros, -10 feed line, aeromotive regulator and -8 return, mine has 8 1170cc in the ports and 5 in the hat, currently on e85 but I’m looking at making the move to methanol, il post a video today/tomorrow from the latest comp I went to and il go over it in that video also I’m running a Holley dominator ecu
Awesome thanks for the reply I am about to start building a VS burnout ute will be running a ls1 383 stroker with 8/71 with mechanical injection methanol all sitting there just waiting on trans an balance then I’ll get into it will definitely start following your stuff cheers man.1 more thing did you piggyback your to injector’s or do they have their own injector drives??
@@WildAnticsNZ at first they were fired by a solid state relay but there was a issue and it held them open, that killed the first ls1, this time it has a injector driver added
