I absolutely love how everyone refers to that snare as the Parasite Queen one when it's all over the OST but the queen happens to be the first track you hear in-game with it haha (which is fair!)
Nah, guys. With so much evidence of Sylux being featured, Seregoss ‘been sittin on this for months just waited for the trailer to drop so he could surf the hype-wave. And he is doin FLIPS and shit up there. This is excellent
This is one banger of a theme. The people in charge of the music in Prime 4 are gonna have a hard time competing lol Damn, I want this on Spotify though
I love how this is proof you can take the original goofy Hunters music and make it sound more intimidating! While I doubt the official OST will use kick drums that are as heavy and EDM-ish as these the arrange is still amazing and would fit in well within a Metroid game!
WE EATING GOOD TODAY SEREGOSS BABY Thoughts on the music in the trailer? At first I didn't really care for the Pirate remix but then I listened to it with headphones and liked it way more. The alien planet/giant tree theme was absolutely incredible.
Oh it is definitely a must to listen with headphones, or a good set of speakers. The tone, vibe, and urgency is literally in your face. Just like in the past games, the music is another character, but also part of the story
I love how there are so many synths and sounds going on at once making it feel pretty intense and chaotic despite the slower pace. Not sure if it's the main Space Pirate theme or just perhaps the theme used for a sequence that happens during that part of the game because the latter half is entirely new and not in the original space pirate theme. May just be the ambush prologue type track but def does feel nice to see Prime go back to more synth-y stuff since Prime 3 was too orchestral bar a few themes.
oh I immediately like it. As a musician myself its nice to see someone take a much stronger approach to a concept theme like this. Most fan made music is too much of a carbon copy and why on earth would you not change anything about a theme originally made on the Nintendo DS. Sylux's theme is cool but its not that great, all of the Hunters in Prime hunters have the same percussion just slight melody and synth changes but its a variation of the same theme each time. You actually changed the way the melody works which is great
@@VGLounge I believe they're going to talk about the different fragments of Phaaze and what they can do and in collecting them Sylux will have most of what he needs to create the strongest Metroid DNA to inject..
Did you start making this song the moment the trailer existed? Because there’s a distance of basically 6 hours between the trailer and this song, that is some insane production time.
Started making it like an hour or 2 after the direct ended, i wasnt watching live bc i really wasnt expecting prime 4 lol Songs usually take me around 3 hours or so to make most of the time, unless i stop and come back to it later
@@seregossmusic fair enough. Well, you did an amazing job with this song! The first 100 or so seconds felt like such a tease, and then it felt like a massive payoff for the full rising notes sequence of the original song to happen 2 minutes in! Plus, everything after the first 2 minutes was amazing to hear!
Great remix. My only issues are the Prime snare sound and using the Metroid Title theme in a section of this. Overall, I could see this in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. I always thought the Sylux theme was too repetitive, but your arrangement is refreshing.
Despite Prime 4 getting a trailer they haven't really shown much that's new or interesting yet, until I see more gameplay and features Sylux remains 90% of the reason I'm excited for the game I've always thought he was the coolest hunter ever since I was a kid.
Unfortunately I have a seriously bad felling this game won't sell too much better then Dread. Infact it'll be a miracle if it sells as we'll as Kirby & The Forgotten Land, let alone Breath of the Wild level sales.
Yeah it's coming out at the ass-end of the Switch's life cycle so there's nothing they can really do about that. And Metroid is never gonna do Zelda numbers no matter what. But Dread was more important to me than Prime 4 so I'm cool with it if Prime 4 doesn't surpass it.
