@@meganlewallen8121 hey I didn't say I could have them👀 lol I said EAAASINNG!🤫 LOLOL. This is day 8. It is uncomfortable. Sooo. I'll be moving back to my applesauce and chicken broth.😫
Ahhh I gotcha lol. Today was day 8 for me. I have my post-op appt tomorrow and I’m kind of hoping he tells me I can start purees early since I’ve had no issues with anything going down so far.
Hope all is going well! I’m a week and half post op from gastric bypass. Happy you had someone with you. I was not allowed to have anyone with me pre op or in recovery for the night I had to stay, but it wasn’t too bad.
Oh goodness! Sorry you weren’t allowed to have someone with you! I think it mentally would have made it harder on me if I hadn’t had my husband there than night and then my mom there the next day.
Aw good luck and keep us updated!! Ive gotta be honest..im so jealous! I was supposed to have vsg tomorrow morning , 6.22.20, but they called today to tell me i have covid so its postponed now:(
@@meganlewallen8121 thank u. No that's the crazy part. We have a household of 5 and no one has symptoms..i only did the test as a prerequisite for surgery 🤯 quarantining for 14 days and calling Dr. Boyce's office tomorrow to get a plan together. The hospital delivered the news to me. I feel guilty for even whining about my surgery bc obviously covid has destroyed lives in devastating ways but it still sucks. Im just trying to tell myself i have more time to lose weight prior to surgery and at least no one is feeling sickly over here.
I could understand that- having conflicting feelings over it. But way to see the positive side! You will get there! Just more time to prepare yourself for it! ❤️
I know it’s been a few months but how did your hospital experience with Covid go? Any new rules? I know you said someone was with you. I get my date soon and worry about being alone lol
I had a positive experience! They allowed only one caregiver/guest to be with me at a time. So my husband and mom swapped out the morning after surgery since my husband needed to go into work. Every hospital has different rules though. A friend of mine had to be alone until a certain “visiting” time so that sucked. I would call the hospital where you plan to have surgery and see what their stance is.
Love the video. Definitely a lot good information. I just had my Vsg Surgery on 09/08/2020 sometimes I feel like I’m doing this journey alone until I find great videos like this where I can relate too. Thank you for this video, if you get the chance please check out my Vsg Journey where I post weekly updates and if you like please subscribe.I definitely subscribed. Love the channel
purplesuninthesky you probably could but it would be hard to gauge just how much you had actually walked. I wore a mask and rarely passed anyone in the hallways.
