It’s absolutely criminal that Spy V Spy never got the recognition they truly deserved, I saw them live several times, and each performance was perfection. R.I.P Mike Weiley, you were a gifted, talented guitarist.

These guys were unbelievable! Brilliant. Australia had the best bands in the world in the 80s. These guys would have been world beaters in any other country. Maybe we had too many great bands?

No tricks, no electronics, just guitars, drums and vocals... thats why spy v spy sound good in any era... 80s, 90s, thousands and now. Some of their music was ahead of its time; lyrics are still relevant today... i love their music

Have left a comment about this amazing band before, but what I didn't say was as a pre-teen when I first heard "Injustice" that this is THE song that inspired me to pursue history as an elective in high school & then to qualify as an Anthropologist and Archaeologist (10yrs of study!) as an adult to be informed, emboldened & empowered to be one who, daily, chooses to fight the good fight because our First Nations Peoples DESERVE to be recognised, celebrated, honoured, treasured, RESPECTED and have THEIR histories TOLD!! Bless the lads, STILL one of my top 5 fave bands EVER - changed my life absolutely 💜🙏🏻☮️

Greatest Australian band in the 80s!..

This song will always remind me of the morning of my sister's wedding day. It was a HOT day in late February 1987 and we were crammed into my brother's car driving around town with this song absolutely blasting. A great memory.

OMG how good were the 80s!! Love these guys and lost track I've how many times I've seen them live. Blox stop cooking and make a comeback. Guaranteed bum's on seats if you made a few cameos in the new Spies lineup. RIP Mike.

I'll never forget.... Asked a couple of mates to my first Spy v. Spy concert...there was us (3) and oh um about 8 others....that was it They had great songs, sounded a lot like an aussie U2, and should have become a lot more well known. They didn't.

This band is Based. Love these old Australian Bands,so much stuff I wouldn't see without RU-vid.

Still have & play it very loud on my old school hi-fi…mint condition copies of the entire Spies discography….vinyl rules!

R.I.P Mike. Remembered it well back in the late 80's watching you guys live at a little club called "The Roxy" in Brisbane Fortitude Valley. Absolutely brilliant.

They key to a great band is a signature guitar sound and Mike Weiley had it big time. RIP.

Used to play this cassette in the workshop on a cattle station back in the eighties while working. The Slim Dusty crowd hated it but its still the best memory I have of that job.

Here we are…2023…I was lucky enough to see (sneak into venues underaged) the Spies at a few local venues Canberra in the late 80’s…I was a massive metalhead/into extreme bands…and heavy metal music…Spies were a level above at the time, best OZ live music I’ve ever witnessed, had to be there, in their prime
