In this video, 3-Gun Champion and former SWAT member, Joe Farewell, shares some tips for shooting with a VTAC wall.
While one won't literally shoot through a VTAC wall in 'real-life' unless in a competition, many of the tips can be applied to shooting through other types of barriers, walls, etc.

Why are you giving away your position by presenting the muzzle beyond the surface of the barricade? It gives your position away from muzzle flash and the bbl sticking out. Don’t read this as adversarial. It’s just an honest question. Thanks.

Did you ever do the follow-up video on shooting from the bottom three ports?

Joe - just curious about how this changes when using a can on the weapon? It seems like it may be more challenging to initially “feed” the can through some of the openings, but does a can make the gun more “streamlined” and less-likely to hang-up on the front of the rail system when feeing the gun into the openings?

A can really doesn’t make much of a difference, however things like flashlights, lasers, foregrips, etc can really impede the ease of movement. Work with what you have and maybe you’ll find things that need to be adjusted.
