I organized a group ride on the July 4th holiday but many could not attend due to prior commitments with family and friends. @@Kamdorian I haven’t received the exhaust yet. CS Racing said it would take 25 days before the exhaust would be shipped. I’m assuming it has to do with parts being on back order but I’m willing to wait bc I think it has the perfect sound for the Vulcan, it’s not too quite and it’s not overly loud & annoying. Okay, I will join on Facebook.

Congrats bud! You will love the bike. I injured my hand and haven't been able to ride for the last month so kind of bummed but it's healed now so will be riding soon! Are you planning on doing mods to the bike? Ride safe man!

@@Kamdorianbummer about the hand. good to hear its healed. I have a couple mods in mind. primarily the seat at this point. Just from what I've read it can be uncomfortable for anything longer than an hour or two. And I do plan to take some day trips on it eventually. My fam lives about 6 hours south and it would be an awesome coastal ride. So seat and then probably a better sounding exhaust.

@@codiejman533 cool yea the stock seat is terrible. I got the air hawk cushion that makes riding for 1.5hrs comfortable but even after that it gets tiresome so have to take quick breaks. I want to get a core seat one day but they so expensive.

The Vulcan S. I've always like this bike when Kawasaki introduced it. i think that was 2015 or 2016. I was considering about getting 1 for my first bike but i bought a used 2012 Vulcan 900 instead. I've got a few videos on it on my channel. Still considering the vulcan s for a 2nd bike. Like how the bike looks and how it sounds. Nice video and I gotta say i'm a little jealous to see you ride, im still stuck at home with this whole pandemic lockdown thing going on.

Cool man I checked out some of your vulcan 900 videos that v-twin exhaust sounds soooooo good. Only thing I wish the vulcan 650 had haha but not possible with parallel twin. The vulcan 650 is very quick and looks great, you will enjoy it. I am possibly looking for a vtwin now because I miss that exhaust sound. I had a honda shadow 750 with vance and hines exhaust and it had that nice vtwin rumble.

@@Kamdorian to me i find that vtwin are all about the sound, the rumble, feel, esthetics of a classic bike and of course the straight line cruising. It wont be as quick, agile, nimble and responsive as the vulcan 650 with parallel twin. so having a vtwin and a vulcan 650 is definitely a great idea!! (there goes my future savings....)

@@reffutama2233 haha my thoughts exactly! Need both to be set for life. I might consider a harley if I can find an affordable one or maybe a more recent year model for vulcan 900. Did you get your bike used? Wife will also kill me because garage has two bikes already lol

@@Kamdorian yeah harley and its accessories are expensive, but the way it rumbles and the sound it makes is just so good. if i were to get a harley it'll be either the Softail Deluxe, Heritage or a Road King. Bought my Vulcan used. Turns out the guy who owned it before I did is a friend of a friend. Got to know him and we went riding a couple of times. Got to know the history of the bike so that's a good thing. The only complain I have on the Vulcan 900 is the missing 6th gear. It feels like you're cruising on high RPM, it gets to me especially on long trips. I'm not married yet but i do get a stare from my GF, even when I'm just thinking about another bike.

@@reffutama2233 yea my honda shadow had same issue, no 6th gear and cruising at higher speeds for long got tiresome because bike seemed to be over revved. I love that vulcan 650 has 6 gears it is very comfortable for long cruising. It's always good to know the history of a used bike before buying! I'll check out those harleys but I want something with smaller frame.

You can fit many different handle bars on the bike, some people have put nice ape hangers and drag bars do a Google search and you will see images on forums and also search Instagram. @@Kephers7 big indeed, definitely sit on it and make sure you get the extended reach configuration. Make sure you comfortable on it and make sure they give you the extended reach seat cuz it has a gel pad cushion so way better then the normal and reduced reach seats. Good luck and ride safe!

@@Kamdorian I did buy the bike. love it! Its so awesome. Already added some mods. 12v, relay, crash bars, heel toe shifter, radiator guard, bar end mirrors, shot adjustable clutch and brake levers. Gonna work on saddlebags and upgraded LED lights soon.

Cool man I would recommend taking the msf riding course to get your license. The vulcan 650 is a great starter bike and has enough power to be the last bike you will need even as you gain more experience. Good luck and ride safe once you get your bike!

I love my vulcan my first bike was actually a shadow 1100. I went down in cc with the 650. But love it way more this bike is great to start as well into experience.

@@2mkholley that's awesome i had a shadow 750 but sold it and bought the Vulcan. Only thing I miss about the shadow is the vtwin sound from the vance and hines exhaust.

@@Kamdorian my vulcan came with aftermarket exhaust and it's alot louder then my 1100. I will check the name when I get back home. I still have the shadow the only thing I would say it's better at is comfort! The handlebars are goofy looking but man do they fit just right!

One of the reasons a blinker flashes quickly is because one of the bulbs (front or back) is out. Maybe check your rear blinker

I have aftermarket headlight and taillight so maybe that's causing the hyper flash. All lights are working. I'll do more tinkering to figure it out. Thanks for the tip!

@@Kamdorian ~ yeah! I love that tail light. Gonna do that. I can’t make the stands fit under my bike, anyway, without removing my license plate. Taking off the rear fender like you did will give me more room to get the arm in.

i have a vulcan s i use live at bx ny i use to ride up state ny and fort lee nj area . i move to sourhern arizona 9 months ago . best decision ever here you can ride all year around . im gona post some videos . nyc is not a safe place to ride . dont go there .my vulcan s is 2018 ive got full acsesories from kawa . and puig engine guards . two brothers muffler . it looks like a small harley . if i would have been in bx ny i could have joint you guys on aride .but your are in south jersey . go to fort lee nj then up the palisades hwy to bear mountain ny near westpoint army base everybody from the city goes there in the summers lots of moto riders lots of pretty views look it up online . i also have a piaggio vespa mp3 500 3 wheel scooter i use to ride that up there to . now ride it in so az also . also in port jervis ny they got the upper delaware scenic byway that another nice bike rd they calle it the eagles nest moto rd nice . but to go to all those places you have to moto camp or go week end stay in hotel in north jersey from where you at .

It's a inflatable cushion from Amazon. It definitely improves comfort compared to the stock seat so I can ride for 45min -1 hr before starting to get tired. Stock seat would hurt after 30mins. You can also adjust the amount of air in it to improve comfort. It's a relatively inexpensive upgrade compared to getting new custom seat which is like $700+. Here is the Amazon link amzn.to/3ZMgTRX

Looking to upgrade my Honda rebel 300. Would a Vulcan S or a Iron 883 be better for a 2 day road trip?

Well for iron 883 it depends on what year the bike is and what kind of seat it has and riding position. For Vulcan the stock seat is not great for long road trips, but you can easily upgrade it. What is your height? The comfort of long ride will depend on the position of the bike handlebars, foot controls, and seat cushion. However both bikes have capable engines for long distance highway riding.

@@TruthSeeker9038I am 5'5" too so yea the Vulcan is perfect seat height. I sat on some Harleys and they were a bit too high for me. Best to go try for yourself. Also Harleys can be modified alot I think so there is a possibility of lowering the bike and getting a lower seat so you can easily flat foot the ground. Good luck and ride safe my friend!

Does your headlight make make a ton of noise and vibrate? I’ve torqued down all the screws multiple times but it seems to still be noisy. Btw my Vulcan is so similar to yours since I’ve used many of your mod video items on the bike

I have not noticed any noise or vibration, I'll take a closer look and hear next time I ride. Check your tire pressure, If it's too low then it could cause more vibrations overall. What color is your vulcan? I'm glad my videos help man! Modding is a ton of fun.

It has improved comfort and allowed me to ride for 1.5 hours before the numbness starts. Definitely better than just stock seat but still not 100% perfect. You can find some cheaper versions on Amazon that should work the same.

@@abemassre1873 yea that is not safe, it could be caused by combination of mounting location and angle or just the height of the windscreen is not right for you. Make sure the angle of the windscreen is matching the angle of the front forks. If that doesn't fix it then yes I would remove.

I hope to do more group rides this summer with many more riders! Nice video, how do you like the windshield? Does it block all wind from your chest and helmet?

@@Kamdorian My windshield is currently more for aesthetics and less for its intended functionality.. This is because it is not straight ( vertical ) as it is expected to be, so wind gets deflected on my helmet ( instead of over the helmet ) which isn’t too pleasant at high speeds.. The brackets which hold the shield have become rusted in these 2.5 years, so I don’t want to meddle with them to straighten the windshield.. But windshield adds to the beauty of the bike for sure !

It's a caw.car mount front amazon. It is not the greatest mount, very annoying to get the phone mounted in it but it is secure once mounted. Removal of phone is always annoying but it a decent low cost option. Link is below. What gear do you recommend for beginner bike

What do you mean by gear? The Vulcan 650 has a 6 gear transmission. If you are a beginner rider you could stay in gears 1-4 and still get around town easily.

@@atff99 ohh haha sorry I misread that! I basically went to the Cyclegear store and bought my jacket, gloves, and boots. Here are some links. For gloves www.cyclegear.com/gear/sedici-lucca-gloves. For jacket www.cyclegear.com/gear/bilt-techno-jacket. For boots I have bilt brand as well but can't find the exact ones, these would work www.cyclegear.com/gear/bilt-pro-tourer-waterproof-boots. Your best option is to goto the store and try everything on so it is comfortable and fits well.
