Lovely bike, thanks for sharing this video. I have the same pipes on my 2010 VN900 custom SE but these youtube videos do nothing to demonstrate the pure depth and thump that these pipes sing.
I am looking at a VN900 Custom with the same exhaust. I'm iterested in your handlebars though? What type are they? And what did you have to modify to get the cables to fit?
Hey Michael. Do you have any fuel management system installed? It seems you don't have quite baffles on the pipes, correct? Let me know, I will also be putting these on my Vulcan. Ride safe!
no fuel managements, Just cobra intake, it really doesn't need it even with my fat ass on it.but yes its louder cause its in my garage. and these are the stock baffles that come with the Vance pipes. on camera it doesn't justify. you will likem a lot thanks ride safe Brew
vinceyippyo sorry dont fully understand your wording, these are the stock baffles that come with the Vance & Hines pipes I just got, if you mean do i notice an improvement from stock exhaust to aftermarket than YES, A LOT BETTER,defiantly feel its got more power on the on-ramps from new pipes . They say you can get even louder baffles for these pipes but I already knew how loud these pipes were with the stock baffles they supply. If by improvement you mean loader than stock baffles on stock exhaust system its a lot louder. Baffles do not improve bikes performance, just the sound. Thank you
SoleEstiLo ya its commen problem with the 900's. there's a link that shows how to fix with a special relay/fuse OMES that connects to fuel sensor wire.
10" mini apes my brew, if u go 12" u should be okay on a custom. my buddy has a custom with 12" apes, and all u have to do is relocate a few cables so that its not tight.
