It is exactly the kind of thing Curze's arrogance would cause him to miss. He thinks so little of people and I imagine thought Vulkan's kindness would stay his hand. Obviously he was wrong.
Now I’m just imagining Kurze doing a thousand-yard stare as he realizes that he’s stuck in an inescapable prison with the guy holding the gigantic teleporter…that he completely forgot was also a Warhammer.
I'd also consider what happened before pretty humbling. Vulkan had no way to break through the energy shield that held his hammer. That is until he goaded Kurze into a direct confrontation. Where he then beat the brakes off him and used his body as a weapon to break the shield
@@martinford4553 Yeah Vulkan verbally violated Kurze. Told him that he was afraid once, but not of Kurze himself. Rather he was afraid that he may break Kurze by mistake. Then saying how he no longer has to fear that cause he can break Kurze without fear now
@@draketurtle4169 Not only that, he explicitly tells him he is the weakest out of all the primarchs, and gives him an extremly solid justification as to why he thinks that.
@@ArgentumFox some would argue lorgar is the weakest… but pissing off the big friendly guy is such a dumb idea he does have to be the weakest. Like you can’t seriously be that cocky to think you can take on someone like that after spending your entire life preying upon the weak.
Surely his dornest is when he admits to himself before fighting Magnus in the throne room that if given the option that Magnus was given to purge his legion or remain a traitor he would have done the same
Konrad by this point probably wishes he could just "skip ahead" to the assassin fated to end his life, just to make the sheer embarrassment and migraine he's now feeling stop.
After litterally JUST beating the breaks off him before hand too! Konrad STILL thought he had that shit after having his face half caved in, and his body violently slammed into the field several times just so Vulkan could GET his hammer.

THIS! This out of everything in all of 40K is my favorite moment. Showing that with all the tech and the power and both being handcrafted by thr Emperor a hammer is still a hammer and Kurze is one hell of a nail

One of my favorite interactions between primarchs, just the “oh yeah I guess that’s right” moment where you remember not everything has to be a crazy macguffin
Kurze: haha! Your stupid teleporter won’t work here! Vulkan: it’s also a hammer. Kurze: … Vulkan: I mean, it was supposed to be a hammer, it just happened to have a teleporter inside of it. Kurze: *oh…* Vulkan: how the hell did you forget that my Warhammer is also a hammer? Kurze, realizing that he’s within warhammer-beatdown distance: *oh shit, I forgot about that.*
Kurze: "Ahahaha!!! Now your trapped her forever!!" Vulkan: "oh brother... you made one critical mistep" Kurze: "and what is that!" Vulkan: "I have a hammer and you don't"
Konrad's future sight was far from perfect, even at the best of times, and being used as a golf ball by the physically largest Primarch of the lot is FAR from the best 😂 Honestly it's 50/50 whether Konrad blocked out the future memory because it was so traumatic, or if Vulkan just hit him so hard the concussion travelled backwards in time so he could never forsee it in the first place!
@@dragonsaint9446 it tended to work better when an event was not inside the next 30 seconds. Most of his accurate predictions, took weeks or months even years to come true. Konrad also just gotten bulldozed through an energy shield. I’m sure that didn’t help.
Not just his face, his everything, when they interred Curze after he suicided by assassin they found pieces of ceramite from his armour still fused to his bones!

Vulkan, a behemoth standing at nearly 11 feet with a hammer and Kurze thinks to himself "i got you now brother!" As if Kurze doesnt seem like a dwarf next to his brother
Vulkan "I'm not trapped in here with you brother (lifts hammer) you're trapped in here with me!" (introduces hammer to curz face!!! Then his boot *STOMP* *STOMP* *STOMP* VULKAN LIVES!!!
Best part of this, is Konrad is in his primarch armor while Vulcan is in basically just a pair of pants. Before this interaction Vulcan manhandles Konrad, bare fisted punching his armor so hard it was hurting him before just throwing him through an energy shield. Vulcan is MASSIVE and Konrad was an idiot for ever getting into arm's reach of the man.

When Vulkan didn't have a teleporter all he had was a hammer. And when all you have is a hammer... IT's HAMMER TIME!!! And Konrads face is looking a lot like a nail.
This is one thing i like about kurze. He was a fool in his intellect. He overthought things and always jumped to the extreme befor thinking of the simple. That is such a human thing to do
Of all the primarchs Vulkan is far and away the most physically imposing. He's a gentle giant so people constantly forget that fact. But I'd put an angry Vulkan on equal footing with a demonic Angron in terms of raw destructive capacity. Vulkan is the living embodiment of the saying "fear the rage of a gentle man"
