Any word on how the loose breather apter effects the car? Or if you found a way to fix it? Just bought the adapters and now im afraid the loose breather will cause a leak which is what i dont want. Thanks for youre videos! Keep it up
hahaha nice Sharky... looking good... a little confused as to whats gonna happen with no vacuum on the crankcase, im not sure if thats a good idea or not. the pcv system in these cars is a real nightmare... anyway love the video and nice lil jetta ❤
As long as you do it right the pressure will vent out, I been driving the car since last upgrade and it runs really good like factory. Remeber there is no sensor by the pcv valve it only open by pressure back to the intake.. delete pcv means no more gas and oil residues back to the intake you will catch all that with the can.
If the connections are not going back to the intake you most have a way release the pressure and you most need and air filter, the fumes are normal is the result of engine combustion and it vents all that to atmosphere. Remember stock all the fumes and pressure release goes to the intake.
+milomelol this will help you understand better. This kit uses the Integrated Engineering billet vent-to-atmosphere catch can, which features state-of-the-art baffle system. This baffle allows crank case pressure to flow through the catch can while oil is separated and stays behind. This design separates more oil than traditional catch can designs and keeps the liquid in the chamber and out of your engine bay. This sleek catch can is fully serviceable, easily disassembling if needed. Draining the catch can is simple with use of a bottom mounted no tool t-handle. The included high quality IE breather filters will further help to keep large particles from exiting the can, as well as any outside elements flowing back to the PCV system. This beautiful can is finished with a bright black anodize finish, which maintains a stealthy appearance, while looking great in your engine bay.
Have a important question,I just done what you did on my 2004 Jetta gli,the damn thing is smoking like a train going down the road..Burning oil like a mother,,Any Thoughts..🤔
Tf how could it be piston rings, wouldn’t the catch can relieve presssure from crank case meaning less blow by?? Increasing octane meaning less smoke tf dude woulda had more smoke before doing catch can if it was piston rings
Its probably just smoke bleeding out the filter of the catch can.. its normal since now all the gas goes to the atmosphere and not back into the engine.

Does this get rid of the p0411( second air pump insufficient code?) Or wont I have to worry about it anymore? Is there a kit for the passat B5 1.8l turbo? I tried looking up oil catch can but I don't see any for vw. Just ford.
ECS and Urotuning has them. Some other places online as well. For the tube and the stick, runs about $100. Definitely worth it, because that plastic gets VERY brittle.

+Yero Martin and if trying to delete secondary air pump you need a tune for that, plus our pcv valve system sucks bc all the oil coming out of the valve cover goes into the engine
Guys, can i just eliminate all pcv sistem from my audi 1.8t awt? Can i just connect low and upper breather with hoses and put them below the car? I have done this on many cars before, just dont know can i do it without consequences on this engine?
If you have to ask. A VW is not other cars and this is not just another turbo engine. You can search the VAG forums of people who have deleted the PCV via custom tune or other rebel antics but as many have learned somethings on this car or any car should not just be bypassed because you think you are smarter than the engineers who designed it. The most reliable way FME is to buy a new PCV which is cheap btw and run your catch-can to that.
You can totally do it pcv or “positive crankcase ventilation” is just that venting gases within the crankcase the system is designed for emissions pcv gases get routed back into the intake system to be burned off in the combustion process and sent out the tail pipe so the answer to your question is yes you can vent straight to atmosphere with no issue
@@squalo777videos what is the valve that goes from the n75 and make you lose boost every gear i want to delete that one but dont have a idea of how to do it
+Bautista Vazquez the biggest difference its that this ones its actually more efficient and it looks better the other one just adds more hoses to the engine bay. To me this one its the best.
@@andrewwright. yea idk what I was talking about lmaoooo im about to do the deletes on mine cause the hoses are super brittle, rather delete and get rid of the headache forever than replace it
@@andrewwright. I got rid of my 1.8T GTI last year and I missed it so much, had to get back in one, so I found a really clean low mileage Jetta. Just starting to re-learn everything lmao
