VW Beetle headlight/parking light upgrade 

Thanks! '67 and '68 are definitely the big change years for the Beetle and it's been interesting to learn how these changes weren't incorporated uniformly by VW. The variety among '68 Beetles alone is pretty astonishing and definitely makes it a challenge to figure out what's compatible with my particular Bug.

I feel that. Finding out what is and isn’t factory and original on my car is a nightmare due to the heavy amounts of variation in the 68 year model. Thankfully though my car hasn’t been butchered too much throughout the years. I’m just now planning out a factory carpet swap to change one of the most obvious modifications. You have any other major jobs on yours in the works for future videos?

@@vistable6006 I do have a few other projects planned for this year that I might record but after last year's marathon repaint/restoration I'd like to spend this year enjoying the car as much as possible. Next year I'm planning to pull the engine to cosmetically restore it and replace things like the transmission mounts, rear main seal and anything else that's deteriorated with age. Should be some good vids there.

I look forward to those videos. I have to do the same with mine when it comes to the engine but for now I am focusing my attention to a major brake overhaul.

There are connections at the fuse block specifically for these lights. The specific fuses may vary depending on model year though
