The synchronization of the video was superb!! One example was the hand in exactly the same place when rotating the rotisserie @ 2:47. Beautiful and extraordinary work on that pickup!
The undercarriage/frame looks incredible! Awesome transformation. Just windows, mechanicals and a few little bits and it will be ready for another few decades of service!
While the VW bus and its variations were pretty good in southern and western climates ,I think the thing that they lacked most was an adequate heater , I had forgotten how long and twisted a path the duct work took from the engine , Did they have an insulation kit and a booster fan to help get the heat to the cab ?
OK , I must have mis-remembered how much heat it put out , the early sixties VW bus we had , I recalled the heater as weak and only had the outlet under the rear seat and the combination lower and defroster in front .
Glideking I am looking through your old post but can not find where you talk about how you built the rotiissary how big are the hoops? what size square tubing did you use?
