Army the bus has been on the road for many years now and I’ve been having to clean the air filter of the Subaru 2.2L engine frequently. I do a lot of off highway travel so I moved the air intake to the porthole area for clean air from the fresh air scoops - this should help a ton!

Awesome job, that should work really well. Some vented plastic splash shields by the engine may help keep it a little cleaner as well. Good excuse for a junkyard run : D

Thanks mate, I washed the engine compartment about 5 years ago. I think it accumulates then falls off in chunks ;)

Which build is this? Looks awesome. Getting ready to start sourcing for our 1st conversion into a 79 bay window. Do you have a preferred engine recommendation? Though currently in Missouri the bus will probably be spending a lot of time in Colorado. Thanks for all your videos!
