Thought i would get another video out on the latest upgrades to the camper van, new quarter panel glass windows installed and storage box installed on towbar.

Hi Donny thanks again its been so good to do from it being a standard van to have fully converted it really enjoyed it. i was the same a bit sketchy about cutting the panel but in the end it was no problem been a great learning curve along the way. Thanks again ATB Ally 👍
Great job Ally. Van looks smart.U have certainly put a lot of effort into it.😎👍 Insurance this last year or so has really rocketed for vehicles.Still amazes me the various quotes you get off them for the same cover and the worst offenders are the big companies.Must have been a hit in the pocket with modified van like urs but the outdoors is what we do so enjoy it.😀👍
Thanks Andy it's been a long process but getting to this stage is more than I thought I could do but it's been brilliant to do, really looking forward to getting as much nights away in the hills with it just great to have the privilege to be able to do it. The insurance was a problem but eventually got it sorted even though it doubled but that's to be expected with all the modifications. Keeping my fingers crossed for better weather next weekend hopefully get an overnight and hike in the mountains. Atb Ally 👍

Thanks Tam its taking a while but finally got it done don't think i can really do much more to it so hopefully get more use out of it now, hopefully get away a few times over Christmas get some mountains done not been out lately this weather has been a nightmare. its been great to do the conversation from it starting as a standard van to now fully converted. Ive been toying with the idea of doing this myself for some time and this has just convinced me. What an amazing job you've done mate. If you dont mind me asking, roughly how much has it cost you to do it all?
Obviously it’s a very smart van, I,sure your very proud of what you’ve achieved. Loved the three part series. So what was the total cost? (Roughly 😂) I’m desperate for a similar build, I need to stop watching and start building
Hi thanks for watching the videos and hopefully help inspire you on your build, loved the full journey of the conversion from start to finish, I would put it st around 9 thousand for the conversion from alloy wheels to the storage box and everything else that's been done. The caddy maxi are a great smaller van to convert . ATB ALLY 👍
Van looks amazing Ally. You can go off grid for as long as you want and take in the hills to your hearts desire. The VW Maxi really is a tardis on the inside. Is the van about the same size or bigger than the Transit Connect? All the best buddy-John from EK.

Hi thanks for viewing my videos, the rear trunk box I purchased from a company in England it comes in two pieces the box and box carrier it attaches to the Swan neck tow bar by one large bolt really easy to install I think it was round about 450 to 500 pounds but really worth every penny.
