@@SuperV8driver What engine? Are you kidding? I mentioned it already. About 9,5 liters per 100 km at 160 kmh. 25 years old

@@TheCrankshaftRotator yep smaller engi es are less ineffiecient if they are just creeping around, if you have to actually use the power they are as inefficient as older ones, at around 20%. 10-20% oberall efficiency, whats actually really bad, so only while "not using" the power they are better, and 90% of the time except at the german autobahn at speeds over 130kph thats the case.

@@SuperV8driver I know, I'm a mechanic. But when I drove with lower load, it consumes just about 6 liters (100 kmh). I'm quite satisfied with that engine.

My A7 consumes around 7.5 liters at 160kmh cruising speed

@@JocarShorts Thanks. Have golf 7.5 with this engine but 116hp and have the same consumption at 120km/h with 16rims, 5.0- 5.1. But i change the rims with 17 and my fuel consumption increase 5.5litres at 120km/h on hiway with clima set at 22-23 degres. But the new wheels with michelin primacy 4+ 225/45r 17 and rims oz alleggerita 8x17 with only 7.3kg per rim and tire have 8.8kg = 16.1-16.2kg per wheel versus old set up r16 with contiecontact5 17.4kg, and still have increase fuel consumption on haway with 0.4l-0.5l

@@georgeionescu9666 very interesting 🤔 I think it’s because of the width. The different tire width 205 vs 225 could maybe affect the consumption up to 0.5l. But it’s just a guess.
