I agree. At least for that price I would expect all wheel drive with a second motor and more performance. And I would expect more of the options to be included as standard.
Volkswagen and Toyota are the most sold car brands in Finland. I don’t think their badge has any fashion value. They are as basic brands as you can get. You can get a Skoda (same VW tech) for slightly cheaper. Their new EV (size between ID.3/ID.4) has going to have AWD too. That’s an interesting car too. It has 560km range, a bit worse than 600km of ID.3 GTX.
@@iaintdonknow yes, the drive selector is where the wiper selector was. Next to the steering wheel. No longer attached to the dashboard. Also higher charging speed (165kWh, +40kWh), 59kWh battery (+1kWh), software 5.0 and the big new screen with illuminated buttons. The screen is super smooth and quick now. Only real downside: the windshield functions are a bit illogical for me. But we have automatic wipers so that's not a big deal.
Oh, and +20kW motor power "on demand" but that's a paid update you can get via the in-car store. It's not that expensive either, but I don't need it now.
@@olafzalm thank you so much for your quick answer! I will receive a Pro S next month and was wondering if the updates would already be fitted. Wish you the best with your ownership experience!
VW is trying very hard to be always worse than tesla in terms of price / perfomance. for 52 000 euros you have longrange model 3 with 75kwh and ... 320kw instead of 320ps in vw ... and they call it GTX, lol ...
You can get an Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce for less than that. Slightly less powerful but better looking inside and out and one of the best handling cars courtesy Alfa Romeo.
