With the restoration of our 1964 VW Karmann Ghia, I was attempting to fix the horn, when it went off close to my ear, this was so loud my ear was ringing for a weeks. So just how loud is this?

I came in search of what a dual tone KG horn sounds like. I was not disappointed. It's weird!

I have a 67 KG which was 6 volts, in about 1987 I converted the car to 12 volts but left the hooters & starter motor 6v, those two items are still running perfectly today in 2022, the hooters are extremely loud & the starter turns very fast.
