VW Passat 2012 and up driver window switch replacement

Thank you! This had been bugging me for two months, and after watching your video I removed the switch, gently cleaned the electrical connectors with compressed air, and boom: good as new. Thankful to save money where I can!

Thanks for making this video! I was scared I had to take the whole door apart to fixe this. Same with me, the dealership quoted me over $200 to fix. $15 bucks on amazon for the part!!!!

Thank you very much 😊. I just followed your instructions, replaced my switch and it is working absolutely fine. Unfortunately I applied a little more pressure while pulling that switch cover out of the panel and broke my switch cover latch connection. But its fine I somehow managed to put it back in place . So small tip for someone who wanted to do it yourself, be careful while pulling that switch cover out, insert a flathead gently and try to feel that latch and once you feel that there is some latch then push to your outwards. Do not push if the flathed smoothly goes deep in.

My drivers side auto up quit working. Just the driver side... only up, auto down works. I've seen 4 different ways to "reprogram" it. None worked. Is it possible it's the switch? Window still goes up... just not auto

Hell Yes, NO REMOVAL of door panel. As all others do. Just need to see if I can do this on a MK7.
