Thanks! I copied your idea using 1.6 mm tig welding rod and grinding the ends flat. Works great!

Does anyone have the part# for that 90° part? I’m getting ready to do these connectors on mk4 and those would definitely make the harness cleaner.

I think those are micro pins You would have to make an even thinner version of this for that. Might not work. Anything 2.0t will have the plug you need. But honestly its easier to just get the part number off the connector and order it. Probably 10-15$ for a brand new one.
