@@Eren-da-Jaeger There are many alternatives for polos petrol versions, some of them are way better like abarth punto but there has not been any alternative to the 1.6 tdi.
Last month stepped into a Škoda showroom to test drive the Octavia, my lord was I impressed. 36L after a few discussions. Time to arrange my finances, I thought. Friends get free and wanna trip, finally the VW polo 1.5 TDI goes in for service and ready for a 2K trip around Tamil Nadu. 12 days on the road and now I can’t think beyond my 80K kms old TDI.. Whether be it the lovely lonely highways of Tamil Nadu or it’s Crazy hills, the polo made realise one thing, I better invest and lock up my money ..
Thanks for the suspension spec....was thinking for my vento either bilsteins or any good suspension setup..as the OEM setup is too soft for my liking...VW has messed with suspension after 2014 models
Just so you know all the collector cars in the world are petrol. There are multiple reasons for it, if you don't know the reasons while does not make any sense listening to your opinion.
@@leansnscenes7806 It's a myth that diesel engine will outlast a petrol engine if both the engines are made out of same material petrol is as long lasting as diesel but usually diesel engines are made with stronger materials due to higher compression required to run them. But petrol is a cleaner engine and maintaining that engine is extremely easy if maintained properly it will last long in the collectors hands without any drop in Performance and will not require much servicing. Diesel engine is infamous when it comes to long term storage.Diesel requires a lot more care-taking even while storing and also while running. Petrol and diesel engines make power differently. petrol is more volatile and easily ignited with a spark. Diesel less so and uses compression to ignite it’s air/fuel charge requiring heavier parts (blocks, pistons, rods…) to be reliable. In the end diesels end up typically being heavier with a shorter useable rpm band, nothing like what people are used to in sports cars. Most modern diesels are turbodiesels to extend the powerband and take advantage that they essentially use detonation for ignition rather than being limited buy it and you can force more power out of many of them reliably, making a lot of them quite impressive. In the end, the shorter RPM band, heavier weight and more difficult packaging just doesn’t work well in a sports car. World's best cars/legendary cars or all petrol engine cars, be it RX7/8 rotary,Lambo Miura's transverse V12, or world's most expensive car ever Farrari 250 GTO's 60degree V12 are all petrol. I can go on and on

Do a review of skoda superb with 6 cylinder engine..... I forgot the model name but back when it was introduced that engine was producing over 200 horses
Back in 2017 (Philippines) we thought of buying this car but we realize it is an old platform and thr automatic transmission is slow. We just went ahead and bought a Mazda 2.
Avoid any car that has a DSG as a used one. The general timeframe when DSG issues start cropping up is about 5 years, 2018 car is an ideal candidate for that now. DQ200 is an utterly unreliable and expensive to maintain transmission as far as my experience with VW goes, that's the sole reason I traded my DSG Polo 1.6 MPI for a Vento 1.6 MPI MT
@@CarbonRP even I own an Eeco in its rarest shade the midnight Black which is later discontinued, bro the car comes alive in the third gear and the gear throws are really slick and short, and it's actually a cool little JDMish van
I am getting 2011 Volkswagen Polo IPL I| 1.6 Petrol Highline 60,000 kms • Petrol • Manual around 2.10lacs is it worth to buying? I am worried about the 15 year rule.. i am from nashik Maharashtra.
Tein suspension sets is my go to option. And if you want to take it to next level get one that is edfc (electronic damping force control) compatible. This means you can adjust stiffness and softness of your car within a controller placed in your dash (or wherever you wanna put it). Its a bit expensive but you can carry them in hand from countries like uae etc.
I need some help in upgrading my Polo 1.6 MPI Petrol . I'm a beginner into this crazy world of upgraded/ modified cars I wanted to understand if I get a conical air filter for the 1.6 from k&n will be it beneficial in terms of torque , sound and performance. And is it possible to be installed that's a big ? Because alot of people said that it will miss fire and there will be warnings of sensors if I get it changed . If possible please guide me Your Fellow subscriber.
So basically what you’re saying is that if you buy a 1.6 mpi it will not be fast but it’ll be nice around the corners if you put a shit ton of money into it
