Thanks for the excellent video. My son hired a t5 to go skiing. Got the vehicle home and noticed the washer wasn't working. Phoned the guy who hired it out and his reply was dont worry as you're driving it will suddenly start working!!!..A quick watch of your video saved the day..Thanks

The 2013 facelift T5 I have does not have the 7.5A fuse shown in the video. All fuses tested OK. Confused.com. Onward with the google quest. Great video though!

HAd same problem but motor was working OK. Turned out to be cracked hose feeding nozzles on RHS of bonnet. Have covered with gaffa for time being, works now.

Yeah - but why did the fuse blow in the first place? I wonder - if the washer fluid froze in the pump( due to lack of antifreeze etc) then the pump might overload when operated. Just a thought.

I have this problem (pump not working for wash wipe) - tried changing fuse in slot 7 (original on my vehicle was 10A, not 7.5A) only to find a) problem not solved and b) original fuse still intact anyway. Anyone got any further tips/solutions? 🙏

If the rear is working but the front is not, is it likely a fuse problem?

My fuse box hasnt got a ‘fuse holder’ where the 7.5 amp should go, i have also changed fuse number 10 in the cab but still no joy, any ideas?
