@Adolf Shitler I know right? I want my gun to have the basics which includes the pistol grip, the detachable magazine, the stock, receiver/mainbody and regular barrel. I don't want to have to neuter the rifle just so I can fire it at a range or even keep it.

Nope, Zbrojovka Holice is out of business, but there might be the people who worked there still around.

People who owns it are usually super happy with it. Hunting with standard Vz.58 is pretty controversial because of the hunting traditions here in CZ. So nobody does that or doesn’t speak about it. I got one wild goat with standard Vz.58 and it was ok, but I can not really compare because I never had chance to take KSK for hunt.

Yeah you are right. I put the cover there wrong way and I figured it out too late to shoot the scene again. 😉

@@CzechMyGuns yeah it doesn't matter, it happens constantly. They should have made the lips bigger. But do you have or know anyone with the fire pin spring and guiderod issue? I have seen it happen 3 times now. Granted, it's guns that ate tens of thousands of rounds but then again, that is a weakspot.

@@Valkmir I have a VZ2008 and have not seen this issue before. It seems like the striker spring guide intentionally has some play in it - I thought - so that there isn't stress points being created. I have ordered full sets of spare parts and the replacement dust cover and spring guide has the same loose tolerances. I will keep an eye on it though.

@@jimyeats what you say about the tolerances is absolutely correct. Because of these fairly common issues I also have a full spare kit laying around.

All guns have weak points. Any gun needs to be inspected regularly.

@@jarek3255 Thats a shitty comparison. Rifle is a tool and esthetics are meaningless when it comes to hunting. Deer will ahrdly give a fuck whether he was shot with rifle with pistol grip or solid stock. Esthetics make difference in hunting. Theatre is a form of enterteinamnt hunting is way to provide food to the table.

@@17MrLeon some hunters and their clubs are more like it's their religion, you can't just go to them with military looking rifle. Also, 7.62x39 is not really hunting ammo and this modification can't change it

Rozumím vašemu názoru, ale tímto způsobem jsem schopen oslovit lidi na celém světě. Na českou komunitu nezapomínám a přidávám tam i české titulky (což mi přidává hodně práce). A naopak bych řekl, že české zbraně jsou notoricky známé u nás, ale ve světě k nim není takové množství literatury a takováto videa jsou zdrojem informací i pro ostatní.

@@CzechMyGuns Nechci se přít, ale československé zbraně jsou známé především ve světě. U Vás v československu je nezná, krom odborné veřejnosti a několika amatérských fandů, téměř nikdo. Zastoupení tzv. střelecké veřejnosti je v obou zemích mizivé, což je z části pozůstatek komunistické minulosti, z části zbožné přání eu a z části národní povaha. Tím nechci urazit nikoho z čechoslováků, ale historie ukazuje, že mimo pár jedinců, je to národ, který se naposled vzepřel v roce 1620 na Bílé Hoře, ale to je z jiného soudku. Tedy si myslím, že spíše svým spoluobčanům by jste měl připomínat, ukazovat a osvětlovat. Samozřejmě je Vaše věc, zda chcete mít vysoké odběry a sledovanosti. Angličtinou oslovíte opravdu kohokoli, ovšem frankofonní a španělci nebudou koukat z principu, angličana to nezajímá, protože co není anglické to nestojí za pozornost, američana neoslovíte, protože je dost kanálů s rodilými mluvčími, stejnou tématikou (někteří jsou dokonce zaměstnanci ČZ USA) a všeobecná dostupnost zbraní a informací o nich je obrovská, asiaté a arabi o těch zbraních vědí vše, protože k nim se většinou vyváželi. Mně osobně se Vaše videa líbí a mrzelo by mne, kdyby jste kvůli malému zájmu přestal.

Logicky, anglicky mluvící publikum je větší. Navíc každej dnes mluví anglicky. A ti co ne beztak neumí spustit youtube.
