Very interesting conversation between Blackie and legendary radio host Eddie Trunk! Alas, recording abruptly in end, but that's all there is... In any case, curious thing for W.A.S.P. fans! Subscribe to my W.A.S.P. channel!
I wish Blackie will do interviews again. It's been a few years since he's done them. It's a shame as well because he's such a good talker. I could listen to him for hours.
Hail Blackie I would love it if you could tour Australia , I’ve been a WASP fan since buying The last command around Christmas 85 and I loved it so much I went back the very next day to buy the debut. Be great to see you live finally
Can't understand why i haven't listened to this interview before now foolish me 🙄This is GREAT AS HECK Blackie sounds so passionate. LUUUVE IT ❤❤❤Thanks for uploading it 🤗🤗
@@W.A.S.P._Fan_Channel The woman crying and saying I love you" in the end made Blackie almost speechless. I think he really got caught of gard by her.😁It was sweet of her and i hope he was able to take it to heart even if he doesn't feel comfortable to be beloved ,and cried over.🙂
Blackie with WASP pushed the envelope with shock rock, theater rock and stage showmanship. He (and the guys of WASP) still haven't gotten the respect they deserve
The few times I taked to Blackie he was always a very cool intelligent talented guy !!! The way he is responding and acting in this interview is how he is in real life !!!
Although many people seem not to like Blackie, he’s speaking truth about the industry, that’s rare even now. Many souls sell out in all genres. Who knows where music will go, we’ll see.
Blackie in a better way said what Gene Simmons has been saying since streaming music came out. Music is far from dead, but the push bands use to get is long gone because of the internet. Someone was sleeping at the switch in the recording industry. Labels really could have controlled it by setting up their own streaming music sales. But oh well. Snooze you lose.
"Studied the occult for three years." Whatever the fuck that means. That's hardly any time to know anything about anything. 36 months?? Nigga, please. He was a really great songwriter for awhile, but he's so watered down with that Christian nonsense, he's lost his way - not "found." Frankly, it would've been more spiritually honest if he would've stayed involved with the occult. He wrote his best stuff under that influence.
One thing I don't think jean cried cause of hero worship it's the soul to hell and back message he talked about she said her mom was a nun and her dad went down also energy of the artist is just the way it is rock music was created by God to clean us of the 7 deadly sins it's why is still the war of pop vs rock
Every producer and many ex band members and bands they travelled with have said what an A Hole he is and miserable to deal with. Most interviews I have heard about Blackie have been Negative! He seemed ok in this interview.
So here we are: at the end of 2021. We live in the most accessible age with everything at the click of a button but no-one is steering the ship. RU-vid is basically the new internet 2.0 and where is the official Eddie Trunk? Where are the dedicated record labels run by the BIG gun multi-millionaire metal bands who made it big? (Metallica, Guns N Rosess, AC/DC, etc) Where are the targeted adds aimed at informing people to go to an official MTV type news outlet or a Wayne's world type show (think Good mythical morning) What about an unbiased voting system that bases radio (or internet) airplay on talent and not payola? ..... everyone is too busy collecting their bitch ass paychecks and don't really care enough to save the music.
being dismissive of someone because of their beliefs is no less self righteous . You felt compelled to leave your comment for the same reason he felt compelled to express his beliefs. Is there really any difference ? You have no more proof of the non existence of a higher power than he does of it's existence
it sucks for the professionals but for people like me who just love playing drums and guitars it doesn't make much of a difference outside of the fact that it costs too much to go see a good live band. But I get why they have to charge more . They can't depend on selling records and touring is an expensive endeavor . I can't imagine what tix will cost in the next decade or so with fuel costs bringing up the price of everything.
@@Cincinnatus1869 Yah I remember when I was a kid thats all that mattered was being able to play for people ... When I grew up I had a pretty decent studio musician career going on until I was in a horific motorcycle wreck
