It will never die out. It's being listened to in countries around the world where no one ever thought this would reach. I was in Serbia couple of week ago and stepped into a Hard Rock Café with this song blasting.
Pure magic: the music, theatrics, and emotion (from the band and crowd). Some might look down on the 80s, but it was an era of pure expression and aggression.
Yes❤ sure was miss arena rock. Pure, authentic ,,no lip bs raw ,, emotion ,,soul sweat raw emotion never see it every again we were so lucky...headbanger. For life. ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

Cant believe i've found this show,I was there aged 16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And never realized it was filmed. Fantastic memorys thanks for all the show uploads, although it makes me feel old now!!
+Nonchiie those were unbelievable years to be growing up in Los Angeles....the entire city rocked hard....loved it! WASP were always a great live band...until the theatrics sprayed fake blood everywhere....and suddenly all the chicks would leave. Great times....
I lived in Germany during most of the 1980s. My dad, brother, friends and I went to a lot of metal and rock concerts there. I recall seeing WASP open for Accept in 85 or 86. Hanging around in record stores and guitar shops. It was a great decade for metal! My wife wonders why I like metal. Well, it's what I grew up with.
@@warren6710 unfortunatly no. We Didn't think of that. WASP did a photo shoot in the foyer, couldnt get a good look thru the door it was rammed the entrance. The sound was perfect, and pumping..tight playing and great stage show..mad max metal.. If only wasp had continued with that stage show- next album i went to see live- and i was disappointed, johnny rod, and this circus show garb, and too much showing off on playing.. The lineup change ruined it imho.
@@jonsimmons4150 I think Blackie is WASP and WASP is Blackie there s no other way to describe this. I agree you about messing up the first line up the energy and stage presence was unbelievable but I think Blackie did the thing he wanted to do about the band. He is a person who build, join, leave and mess bands back in the day like London and Sister. Basically he is his own boss he continued more logically about the world's status at that time
Man, a 25yr old Chris Holmes. How time flies. Good to hear that he has supposedly been sober for quite a while now. It still took its toll. You can hear it when he talks, it sounds like he has wet brain. He still sounds kind of drunk when he talks today even though he is sober. Still, the fact that he is alive, healthy and still playing is nothing short of a miracle. Good luck in the future chris. He said he quit drinking in 1996. I don't know if that true or not, but that's what he says.
I listened to American bands like the Twisted Sister, Mötley Crüe, Dio etc. when I was a kid in the 80's (still very much do so), with a ton of European bands as well. But I just realized, when walking down that memory lane, that I couldn't remember seeing W.A.S.P. performing live ever. So, I decided to check out one of my favourite songs from them - which is this. In the video it's cool and grandiloquent to see Blackie waving his fist high up in the air while singing and playing the bass, while at the same time that jackhammer of a bass riff keeps rolling on and drills it's way into your ears and to your consciousness. Well, to see that same exact thing live didn't work so well.
Didn’t anyone notice the first chorus? He walked away from the mic….yet you can still hear his voice. When he is singing it sounds extremely close to the studio audio, then halfway through the song his vocals sound different where it does sound live.
Yeah, I noticed that as well. I think he's lip syncing at least the first half of the song. Incredible voice regardless. I seen a video the other day where Holmes was obviously not playing.
When I first seen wasp was when they came out and the stage and everything looked identical to the album. With the two huge skulls, one on each side with the name in flames and with a almost naked woman below it. Never will forget that concert.
Back in the 90.. Me: What are you hearing? Friend: wasp Me: what? Friend: it's heavy metal Me: This is so crappy. Let me hear.... ........... ..................... Friend: Give me back my walkman. Me: FU!
AWESOME!!! God I remember all of those early... they were the BEST!!! I like it better when Blackie plays Bass. DON'T YOU WISH BLACKIE would reunite the whole original band???
Saw these guys mid hudson civic center with the release of their second album. It snowed like hell and nobody showed. I got up front and center. Great show even though blackie played guitar instead of bass. Im a bassist so....I was a little disappointed.
I've seen these a few times - and wasn't ever disappointed. Now I'm old and need glasses could some kind stranger tell me if my eyes are deceiving me or has Blackie got ass-less chaps on?
