I can't believe how good Blackie's voice is at his age , still being able to scream like that! I saw them a few times and they were great , but unfortunately they haven't played near my area in over 25 years! The first time was when they opened up for Metallica and Armored Saint opened for them. It was the Kill Em All tour at a small club and Blackie came out of a giant skull and threw raw meat into the crowd , we paid $10 for tickets!
You know why he sounds great because he didn't sing high like all those other bands QR, Stryper ,,Dokken, Motley Crue he sung low back then and it sounds just as good now than it was in 1984,,, that's a smart move if he did it on purpose good job sing low because in your 60s you have to resing these songs
Funny how Bon Jovi is choking out "Dead or Alive" and Blackie and the WASP crew are still belting out this stuff!? Blackie is an absolute MONSTER 💯% badass 🤘
I saw them twice in the 80’s in Philly. Blackies voice sounds just as good today.. crazy guys that sing like him usually have throat issues. He’s killing it still!
We really need this show up here in Alberta, Canada!!!!!!!!!! Although I discovered W.A.S.P. at an early age and have loved them for many many years, I never got the chance to see them live.
Through the years wasp has been a band not easy to forget. With an unstoppable force they heading to the furure with proud and strenght. They style is unique un the rock and roll Word without variation in their Quality. Not much band of the 80 last forever a lot of time like them with that incredible sound and a voice like blakie.
Saw the original Wasp in the 80’s with Slayer and Raven.Raven got booed off the stage, threw a fit and destroyed all their equipment,Both opened for Slayer,Slayer was fucking amazing
Man this great,,when I was kid I needed a replacement band, cause kiss took the makeup off and did lick it up,, God that sucked,, Motley did theater of pain,,,even worst,,and one day I stubbled this song and band,, I FELL IN LOVE EMEATELY
Blacke Lawless voice is ntohing but a miracle. Sounds just as good as on record. runs a bit out of breath but thats part of the show haha. But the sound is spot on recording level.. Should not be possible to preserve it this good
While I LOVE the fact that so many of the great 80s metal bands are still working and giving the fans something to do on a Saturday night (Go to their concert), I also have to understand why they're doing it. Because of the internet, because of piracy of music, because of cheap streaming audio, these days a band makes its money from TOURING, not from record sales. Record sales are now trivial compared to what they can make off of a well promoted series of concerts. And that is why your tickets to the show cost you 250 dollars each...or more.
Just found a video last night Chris Holmes beat his cancer and back out doing it did wild child and mean man gotta be honest his guitar that tone still shredding that guitar . It's on RU-vid
Never say never Blackie when asked about Chris and his cancer seemed genuinely concerned older and maybe over the old BS you never know, kk said he would never play with priest again . They kicked ass at the Rock hall induction
Yeah, that was an awful situation. Apparently that venue has a history of packing too many people in, and finally got caught it sounds like. I almost drove up for that show too. I would have been PISSED!
So, it pretty much looks like a regular Wasp show to me. I thought this tour was supposed to be about bringing the original 'show' to people who never witnessed it? Even the setlist for this tour is just same old same old. Blackie's cried wolf one too many times for me.
